I've read many danmeis and some of them are quite unhinged, but never read one like this. This is pure filth! Straight up rape romanticisation! What was the purpose of the movie they were making anyway? There was nothing going on apart from rape after rape, over and over again. I only read up to chapter 49 yesterday and I'm still traumatised. This writer is clearly a psychopath who made us love the characters, only to destroy them right in front of our eyes. Sad.

And they're complaining about cheating! 😆 They don't know what's coming 😭

Yeah they do, but I find it too disturbing in this one because Gao was already a rape victim, had PTSD because of it, and was undergoing therapy to get better, but then he ends up being raped again and again! He even ends up getting raped by his first rapist! And somehow he is ok with it. It's too much for me!

But I'm loving the drama so far and I hope I keep loving it. 😭

The amount of rape romanticising the author has done in this novel has left me revolted. I don't understand why the director chose to adapt this novel into a drama. Hope he changes it otherwise i'll be heartbroken.

And seriously...what the actual f was that!!? I'm traumatised!!! What's wrong with this author!!? I genuinely feel sick 🤮

I really hope the drama has a different plot. I love Ollie and Shuyuan way too much to watch them go through this shit!

I haven't finished the book yet but I'm so grossed out by the romanticisation of rape in the novel. What was the author trying to show here? That photoshoot between Gao Zhun and Wu Rong's character?! Was it supposed to suggest some kind of love triangle or what? 🤮

Also whatever is going on between Gao Zhun and Dr Fang is so wrong. I think people are going to be disappointed by what happens in the upcoming episodes with their storyline if it stays the same as it does in the book. But yeah, I haven't finished it yet, so maybe there's more to it.

Ok to the novel readers:

From her mannerisms, I think it's easy to see that there is no love lost between her and Zhen Xin. So of course, it's easy for her to give that advice. Unlike Danyi, she isn't hurt. She is just using Zhen Xin.

So glad we finally got to see more of Zhen Xin and Zhang Zhun. I missed them.

Even though they're just acting within the drama, my heart broke when I saw Shuyuan in that scene.

I'm reading the novel and I'm not liking the questionable therapy Dr Fang Chi is doing in the book. I hope the drama handles it differently. But yeah today's episode was so good yet so tragic. Both Ollie and Shuyuan are killing it. How can this be their first acting role!! 😮

I knew I'd be blown away by all the NC scenes, but I was not ready for their sweet moments to be even more deadly! When Zhen Xin told Zhang Zhun that he'd heard him say his name...with that smirk...omg! And the way he protected Zhang Zhun from hitting his head. And the way Zhang Zhun caressed his hand afterward. And the way they looked at each other when he was about to put that cream on him. Or that scene where he was so pleased to hear that the other guy had slept on the sofa. I'm so undone by this drama 😩😭

He's 20 now but was 19 when those scenes were filmed.

Ngl the kisses are a little bit sloppy, but what can you expect when the top who’s usually the initiator of aggressive kissing is a 19 yr old kid here 🤣😭
