I don’t think that’s a problem. This is the same director who made Till the End of the Moon. Even though that drama came out in 2023, its CGI is still considered one of the best today. Good CGI doesn’t suddenly become bad just because a few years have passed.
But in the manhua it’s not just Zero. Su Luxia actually has other guys she likes in different arcs too. From what I remember in one of the earlier arcs probably the second one she falls in love with another man. They get married and live a happy life together until he grows old. The feelings are mutual and everything is pretty peaceful. But the twist is Su Luxia doesn’t age and stays young. After he died, she finished that arc and moved on. That arc kind of felt like an actress arc but I might be mixing things up a bit 😹
There are quite a few arcs where she has different love interests. Zero mostly appears in flashbacks. And from what I read her feelings for him were never clearly confirmed. It feels more like he’s a savior type figure or someone important to her rather than an actual romance. Maybe the later chapters explain it better but I only read up to around chapter 400 lol.
And yeah there are rumors that the drama explains how Su Luxia ended up in that world in the first place. But the manhwa itself is more like new arc new mission new story every time.
