Yea agreed, its a hypothetical that she wasn't really contemplating for real. Given how lowly/weak she thought YZ was tbh. I was speaking on his mindset in that scene though, he could've said it then, thats all. But yes the actions still will play out same imo. And she does need to learn the rules and get over her insecurities, which I think the Tutor will help with.
Such a good episode, love the angst and this "forbidden love" trope we got going on now! 🤠I really really liked that we had real honest communication from the couple. It was good to see XZ grovelling (as he should) was satisfying. I still think he could've told her in ep26 during their convo, he had the perfect segue to do it when she said she 'didn't mind if he was promoted to marquis.' But I guess he felt too trapped in the lie and his own issues to take that step.
I noticed there's a different aura/tone with how he speaks with her now too, like a blend of YZ/XZ, which was nice. It feels more genuine/real.
Her concerns about rank make total sense. It’s kind of full circle too - she used to worry about village gossip, and now it’s going to be the entire country watching and judging. That’s such a daunting shift and so I like that she's slowly opening up to it instead of rushing in. And him reassuring her of it was soo nice, even setting up the goddaughter situation after being rejected! I really loved his scenes with Tutor too. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
