Yes, it is believe the victim and in this case the "supposed" victim is poi, it doesn't make build automatically guilty, it's taking the allegations seriously not just for her but for everyone who is dealing with abuse, men or women

I'm not the one blindly trusting them, you don't have proof and neither do I, so why believe he's so innocent? There is a false rhetoric surrounding the phrase “believe women” that implies an allegation should be enough to convict someone of assault without other evidence just like you would say I abused you. In reality, convictions based solely on allegations rarely, if ever, occur. This view only leads to the discreditation of those who experience violence. Instead, believing women is about encouraging them to come forward by providing a safe space. This concept developed because of the double-standard survivors of sviolence experience: For most other crimes, law enforcement officials and outsiders are quick to believe victims and launch investigations, whereas survivors of abuse are expected to provide all evidence for a conviction during the initial complaint or they are invalidated. Believing women is not to presume immediately that the accused is guilty, but rather to acknowledge the accuser’s complaint as legitimate.

Are you not forgetting his other ex girlfriend who accused him of abusing her physically? Does that not count? What proof do you have that she is lying? None? He is called an abuser and she is getting death threats. Hatred is hatred.

Of course there is a possibility of him being innocent just like there is of him being guilty but some people don't see that, yes he has been getting hate but so has she and this is my point, neither of them should be getting any form of bullying in their direction. We don't know them personally, we didn't even know they had a relationship up until a few days ago. The thing im trying to say is that we shouldn't directly say "Poi is lying" I want to make her feel heard and not because I think build is guilty, it's because each time a case like this comes up, other survivors will watch it and they need to see that when a victim comes out with their story, people will listen to it of course that doesn't eliminate builds right to speak up too, Im all ears for him as well. But again, my guess is that they abused each other since neither of them want to go to court but that's nothing but a thought

You do not know who the victim is so why are you blindly trusting build then? How are you so sure she is lying? See, this is why you should never blindly trust either of them nor throw hate at either of them, we don't know these people. She obviously had problematic behavior but so does he. He is not a saint he is a human being who is capable of horrible things just like she is. In this moment she is the one who came forward showing signs of abuse and even if she's a liar, the reason I'm not defending build is because if there is even a 1 percent chance of her being pulled through that nightmare I will not invalidate that, it's not like im throwing hate to build either, if he has his own story to tell I'll gladly listen to him but this shouldn't be done in a YouTube video. It should be done in court

Im not going to argue with you on this, You obviously have your own opinion and I have mine. As a huge Vegaspete fan I really wanted to believe Build has changed after his last scandal. I know people can grow and become better but what just happened proves that he maybe didn't. Be on cloud maybe doesn't care much about build but they do care for their reputation and the thing that would save them from it is if they could prove Poi is lying which obviously they can't. I hope you are right and I'm wrong, I really don't want him to be guilty and I don't wish for her to be abused but until then, I'm not going to defend him.

The problem with this fandom is that we take a dimensioned, real human being and essentially stereotyped them we are making a caricature of him — a two dimensional cardboard image of what you want him to be, instead of a full blown human being. For every person we meet, we do this as well, splitting them into the real person they are and who we expect them to be. Larger than life figures take our focus, and it's not just a problem when they disappoint us with their fuckery. Some of you guy's here are so deep into your fantasy that you think he can do nothing wrong and I'm not judging that, it's pitful because he's your comfort zone and you are trying to protect that. People who haven't met him in real life are blindly trusting this man and throwing hate on the women. I'm not saying you should blindly trust poi either but people should make victims feel heard, they obviously both have fucked up behaviours and I'm sorry some of you can't see it but if poi lied I hope she gets punished and if he abused her I hope he rots in prison.

Build chose conference too, if she didn't have anything he would go as well and boc would support him. My take on this is that they both abused each other. I have no problem with people who believe that he is completely innocent but that's not going to be me and just because she has done it doesn't mean she deserves to be abused as well, i dont wish that upon anybody.

If she didn't have solid proof boc would go to court and win the trail and get hella lots of money from it. Giving hashtags to a potential abuser is absolutely terrifying and dangerous for so many other victims, this isn't about whether he is guilty or not this is about believing the victim and supporting them until stated otherwise, build used to be my favorite just like Bible is, they were my top tier actors but after build's past was revealed that changed really quickly and it would be the same with bible, I'm not going to put a celebrity above my morals. It's a person I don't know in real life and just because I love their work doesn't mean I will step on everything I believe in.
