AND SAME, today when Bible said he *dislikes* the ending of 4 minutes and then Jes was like, “I love it,” I seriously almost had a heart attack. WHO AM I SUPPOSED TO TRUST HERE? It’s messing with my head! I’m so stressed about how it’s going to end because if it’s anything close to a sad or open ending, I honestly don’t think I can handle it. I *need* closure—like, desperately. No heartbreak, no unresolved tension, just a satisfying, wrapped-up ending, please. 🙏

I just binged all five episodes, and honestly, I’m not okay. I’ve read the book before, so I thought I knew what was coming, but this show just hit different. They managed to translate everything from the original material—the slow burn, the layered emotions, all of it—into something so visually stunning and emotionally raw. I feel like my heart is both aching and rooting for these characters at the same time, and it’s tearing at me in the best way possible.

I don’t want to give away too much (no spoilers, don’t worry), but if you really get Tian’s backstory, you feel the weight of all the pain he’s been carrying around for so long, and then there’s this glimmer of light that starts breaking through. It’s honestly heart-shattering. The way this show handles his trauma and how love slowly, almost reluctantly, starts to heal him—it’s *chef’s kiss* perfection.

Episode 5? Whew, that one took me out. Starting the episode with Bernoulli’s principle? Absolute genius move. Talking about two objects colliding because of the wind sets up the whole episode in this breathtakingly poetic way. From the very first scene, you can feel this undercurrent of bittersweetness, like everything is both falling apart and coming together at the same time. The hopelessness and the hope, it’s all there, right from the start.

Sheng Wang’s sense of deep, bone-deep loneliness and Jiang Tian’s constant hesitation, that push-pull between them, it’s so powerful. All those emotions just swirling together like some kind of chaotic storm, and it’s like you can see them both trying to figure out whether to embrace it or run from it. They’re stuck in this emotional turbulence, not sure if they want to stop the wind from pushing them together, but also terrified of what happens if they don’t.

And let’s talk about *that* scene. Sheng Wang asking Jiang Tian to carry him? It absolutely wrecked me. Like, you know in that moment, it’s not really about being carried. What Sheng Wang really wanted was just...to feel close to him. To feel connected in any way possible. He wanted so much from Tian, and it’s almost like he didn’t know how to ask for it. So he wraps it in this tiny request, hoping Tian would say yes.

This show is something special. It’s not flashy, it’s not fast-paced, but it’s mesmerizing in its slowness. The burn is so gradual, but it pulls you in deeper and deeper until you’re completely lost in the little details—the stolen glances, the unspoken words, the layers of meaning behind every gesture. It’s the kind of show that consumes you, where you feel every breath, every touch, every bit of tension between them. It’s a masterpiece in its own way, and honestly, if you let yourself get wrapped up in it, you won’t be able to look away.

I don't know if y'all saw, but Jes and Bible reacted to their NC scene in episode 6 (full reaction), and they were so proud of it 😭. There was zero hiding or shyness—they were watching so intently! Bible even mentioned how much he loved that scene.

During the four minutes that his brain continued to function, he relived his past and attempted to alter it, which is why the 4-minute power was there but everything was in his head (unless they take the supernatural approach but I doubt). Episode 6, however, shows what really happened in real life

I just caught that during the NC scene when they had their first kiss, Tyme was kind of stiff, holding back and pressing his lips together like he wasn’t sure what was happening. But when they were in the middle of doing it, dude straight up forgot about his revenge plot, went full send with his mouth open and pulled him in for the kiss of his life. All his reservations flew out of the window 😭

I keep getting the results with Bright from *2gether* because of that adaptation "Boys Over Flowers" since his name there is also Tyme and it’s pissing me the fuck off 😭. I did find some edits, but they’re only from a month ago and barely have any Tyme and Great scenes. WHERE ARE THE EDITORS WHEN YOU NEED THEM?!

I haven’t started watching yet, but I’m currently reading the book, and after seeing all the comments, I got curious. It seems like a lot of people are complaining that the show focuses too much on exams and studying. But honestly, if that’s the case, they’re just being true to the original story. The book itself puts a lot of emphasis on academics and the pressure that comes with it, so it makes sense that this would carry over into the adaptation. It might not be everyone’s favorite part, but it’s a huge part of the plot, so they’re really just sticking to the source material.

This show really just exists to make us cry tbh. 😂 I’m out here hunting for edits every day. I wish the YouTube editors would bless us with more content too!

To us viewers, what Tyme did might seem like a big deal, but to him, it's just another day. He literally said he's not embarrassed by that stuff, so it didn’t really faze him. Honestly, he probably wouldn’t care if his sex tape got leaked AGAIN especially if it made his dad mad, it's just a bonus🤣 So, it's not like he's sacrificing anything just to tick his father off. That clip being out there is no biggie for him.

Update: "4 Minutes" has consistently held the top spot on Viu for several weeks and now boasts a 9.9 rating on iQIYI, securing the number 1 position there as well. Considering that C-dramas, which are usually more popular than BL series, dominate the charts in there, this achievement is incredibly impressive especially for a newly established ship. I'm so proud of them! ❤️
