I'm pretty sure the enemies with benefits specials will be just like the special novels but I'm very curious on how they're going to do the whole noey situation, especially since in the recent special they do get married noeycheese get the baton pass for a wedding - which who knows if snow leopard will write that lol - but yeah no I totally agree with you, dragging on the same story for too long becomes just a waitlist of repetitiveness whilst waiting for the same show to get something more
