I loved it. Now I'm off to watch the other versions. If the comments are any indication, I'll start with Japan…
Don't forget the second season of the Japanese version. Even if you don't enjoy the first season, I definitely still recommend season 2 (Ossan's Love Returns). It is soooo much better!
Other than the Amnesia plot, I genuinely liked the ending. Honestly this adaptation managed to make Boss a lot…
Ossan's Love Returns is definitely superior... and because of than (and all the changes made to the story in this version), I don't think adaptating that season would be a good idea.
I don't believe it was Japan that censored the show; they literally have no reason to do that. The "original"…
This is why I said at the beginning "I believe". I too don't know what happened and why they decided to edit / censor the show even more. I was just sharing my point of view so calm down. Like you said, there's "no proof" that what I said is right, and there's also "no proof" that what you are saying is right either.
I don't believe it was Japan that censored the show; they literally have no reason to do that. The "original" version of JITD was already censored so there weren't any explicit scenes to begin with. There is no point for the Japanese company that bought it to censor it even more. Plus, even though the network that is broadcasting it is known for its crime, thriller, mystery, psychological shows, sometimes they do include queer characters in them, so I doubt one of the conditions to broadcast the drama on this network was to remove every ambiguous element that might make the audience believe the caracters are in love with each other. As someone mentioned before in the comment section, what most likely happened is that the version sold to Japan was the version that the staff re-edited with the hopes that it would eventually pass censorship again and be rebroadcast in China.
Can someone who has watched the original japanese version tell me what's gonna happen in the last episode??? cause…
literally can't even tell you because nothing of what's going to happen in the last episode of this version is part of the original story. the only thing i am certain about is the endgame pairing, which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.
I really liked episode 2. It was much better than the 1st one. And I can already tell that the sweet moments between the main characters will be the highlight of the show!
Nah wth was that. Out of all the changes made to the story, what happened in the last scene was by far THE WORST!!! Now we are back to square one???!!! For what???? WHAT WAS THE NEED???!! omg, this is so annoying ๐
I was actually quite enjoying today's episode despite feeling everything was happening too fast (which is ironic because all this, except the last part, happened in the last episode of the original one and it somehow didn't feel rushed to me). But I guess the writers of the Thai adaptation just couldn't come up with a satisfying and logical way to end the season after making so many changes to the plot and decided to add one of the most hated tropes to make the story """"more interesting """" ๐ซ
But now that I think about it... maybe the writers got inspired by what happens in the sequel movie of the original .... sigh. Anyway, whatever their reason was for choosing how the last episode will unfold, it was a terrible one ๐คฆ
Bad CGI and questionable scriptwriting (so far) aside, the one thing that has been a 10/10 is the main song. I've been obsessed with it since I heard it in the opening. As expected, Gawin's voice is so beautiful and the melody is so enchanting.
Nope. This is a STRAIGHT romance drama between man and woman. People can feel the tension between ML and FL in…
I'm not even watching the show but I'm saying, just because it is a straight romance drama doesn't mean the viewers can't ship two male characters, even if one of them is the antagonist ๐คฆ
Damn, this version is really making me dislike Mo. I understand he feels insecure but he really is sabotaging his relationship with Heng. In the original version, it made (more) sense that Maki wanted to break up with Haruta because Haruta wasn't sure about his feelings and was basically still treating Maki like a friend. That, plus the mom coming back home and telling Maki about how much she wanted Haruta and Chizu to end up together, PLUS Chizu asking Maki for permission to confess to Haruta, was what made Maki feel there was no point in continuing the relationship.
But in this version Heng is constantly telling and showing Mo how much he loves him, so it feels way less convincing for Mo to feel so unsure about his relationship with Heng to the point he tells Heng's mom Chicha is Heng's girlfriend. And then he has the audacity to feel upset about the problem HE created๐
Wait.. Chian is an university student now ? Why he was hanging out with 15 year old Bua anyway lol....
bua is 15? man, i can't remember for my life the age of the characters. but i always thought that bua was older than the rest because he was the only one not going to school? but now that i think about it, he maybe is a student somewhere else. as for chian, i'm guessing he is one year older than foudmod and his friends because all of them used to attend the same school.
