People below: i loved POJ from the start but its a crime to even compare Overdo to it.
Fans of drama that only count on visual and cinematography but have weak plot and bad storytelling, now criticizing a drama that have fast paced, layered characters, and bring real issue in their story. Let me tell you that drama you like is only counting on excessive romance scenes and filler scenes that I feel bad for the actors involved because the only discussion being made was only about how hot their chemistry by all those disgusting skinship, not even plot can be discussed lol

I am actually okay with constructive criticism about AI intro and other technical issue. But then I go check another drama pages that just aired and use the same AI intro, same excessive lighting but no one critic those drama as harsh as they did to overdo. And tbh I should say that no one even critic them.
And what is more irritating is some people here try to lecture Overdo enjoyer to accept the ratings as if it is given objectively and not an orchestrated hate. When the subjective critics has been made even before the drama aired.
They also kind of insult people who still enjoy this drama as brainless when most of discussions are breaking down the character's emotions to understand them even more. And that definitely needs lot of brain lol

While for this drama, if you reply with such things, others will reply "This drama is bad, just drop it", "If the story can't hook people right from the start then it is a trash drama". So other dramas are allowed to unfold their story by each eps while this drama is not allowed?
As for people criticizing it as "weak script" and "bad character development". From what I see, this drama is too heavy for viewers nowadays who can only label characters with lots of color but not gray. Gray characters exist in Cdramas since years ago. Viewers can enjoy them really well back then and they treated the characters more like "real people" who can do right and wrong at the same time as they consider the characters actions & decisions are based on their past experiences. Personally, I love this drama for bringing this kind of story with gray morally characters back because it's getting tired to see the same red green flag or gender discussion over and over again every time new drama is aired. One wrong action by the main characters and viewers label them as "red". One good action from the main characters and viewers label them as "green". While 3 dimensional character can not be labeled that way because they change gradually as the story progressed. This drama is also too heavy for them who wants a fluffy romance for the leads, when in fact, if you deep down to their dialogues, it's even more romantic than any kind of skinship. For me, this drama is the type that you need to be patient while waiting the story to be unfolded one by one.
