The drama had the romantic comedy that people would look for with some drama in between. It is a good watch if you want something short and not so dramatic. The love story was good and the chemistry was also good. It maybe could have seemed a little slow paced. The supporting characters made it a little annoying at times. I mean if one can get passed some flaws in the drama it is a good watch. It does teach you to love yourself just the way you are and just because you change your outer appearance, that does not mean people will just love you because people care about personality not just about if you look beautiful/handsome. The message was good and effective. There are somethings that the writers could have done better with like discussing if Tie Nan ever felt guilty for what he did to his childhood friend. They also made his friend really shallow and not caring at all about anyone else but himself and there was little to no improvement on that part near the end. THey rushed the end way too much that things were left unexplained. We never know if the person who was the main actresses enemy ever gets fired or anything and basically Ruo Wei just gives up completely and lives in the countryside when ever since the beginning she has wanted to just be a Chief Surgeon. Also, we never see Tie Nan fully make up with his father after all the years of just being on bad terms because of a misunderstanding. Tie Nan's friend never fully gets a closure with Ruo Wei or Tie Nan. He is basically left in the dark. Ruo Wei never shows interest in him regardless of what he does for her and Tie Nan never apologizes for what he did to him as a child.
