First off, if I were Sakiko, Mitsuru wouldn't have been able to stroll into the house so casually. And that little slap she gave him, had all the strength of a love tap behind it. I would've have reached back to the beginning of time and came forward to dislocate his jaw. I don't know if it's a cultural thing, or just their personality, but they're too civil and diplomatic about how they they talk through this situation. If I were Sakiko, it would have taken the strength of Thanos to keep me from reaching across the table and putting my hand through Mitsuru's face when he said that he was staying at his parents place, and only thought about me after his dad died... and then had the nerve to sit there, all calm, cool, collected, like he just came home from work.Then he had the nerve to criticize the connection that her and Itsuki have developed, trying to make them feel like what they are doing is exactly the same as what he and Azusa did, when it isn't. First of all, they developed a connection because of grief. He and Azusa didn't. Sakiko wasn't sitting around reading books about having an affair, while linking up with Mitsuru at the laundromat. Secondly, the only reason why Sakiko and Itsuki even had the opportunity to connect is because of the revelation that came to light after the bus accident. His relationship with Azusa, created the series of events that led to Sakiko and Itsuki connecting in the way they did. I would definitely have Mitsuru kick rocks and start a relationship with Itsuki if I were Sakiko. It'll be an instant family, with the opportunity to build on it, like she always wanted to. Plus Sho is already crazy about Sakiko.

Damn... she played him like a fiddle. I can understand wanting to burn down her whole world so she's forced to reveal her true colors, but I'm not sure I'm the type to devote so much energy into destroying someone's world. That's a kind of Kdrama "The Glory" energy. I would rather just leave town after burning up her gentian field.

Listen... I would've responded completely different the finding out the girl that I loved, disappeared on me, and then pops up and ends up getting engaged to my brother. Since my family doesn't like me, and my girl played me, I would've collected my chips, cashed them in, and moved either to the other side of the country or outside of the country and started my life over. All I know is that he thought she was dead, and searched for her, but she stayed hidden. I don't know what the full story is with that, but I would've went ice cold and distant toward her, and moved on with my life.

Everyone in his family seems that just have utter disgust for him. I couldn't imagine having all family members just speak so ruthlessly about me, especially my own mother. Even though they don't deserve it, when his mother was getting raked over the coals, he stepped in and handled the situation in front of everyone. You could tell his mother was impressed. I don't know the full back story yet, but hopefully, his family comes around and treats him better.The gut punch in this episode, of course, was the ending, when he saw that his brother is getting engaged to his love. Reminds me of the Kdrama, Buried Hearts, where the ML had to watch his love interest get engaged to his frenemy, and didn't know it until the day of the engagement ceremony.
