What the Lee kids are experiencing is lazy parenting, because the parents think they're protecting their kids from being tsken advantage of and the pitfalls of being rich, but a better approach would be to teach their kids how to recognize grifting, etc rather than denying them full life experiences. Especially, something like love which everyone yearns for and they themselves have. It really is unfair.
