I find it so interesting that the overseas audiences are having issues with Miao Jing's character while in China she was literally trending on weibo for breaking free of the "naive and sweet" overused mold. I was sure this purity issue nonsense would put off the Chinese watchers as well. They pleasantly surprised me.
The kiss was beautiful and passionate, but that hug? That hug was EVERYTHING. He sank into her. It seemed like at that moment he didn’t know where he ended and she began.
I was jut thinking the same!!! and it is not a bad drama I have a theory of why but I am terrified of saying it…
That’s absolutely valid. I had that same problem with never ending summer. I stuck till the end cuz of the chemistry and the dog alone. We’re all different, to each their own, I say
Novel readers spoil me if Chen Yi has a real GF or he lied to chase her away. Also Police officer GF alive or…
From what I've gathered, they did date in the novel, but in the drama it's definitely a fake relationship (he says so in one of the trailers and it's also written on the official character chart), though it seems Tu Li has a one-sided crush on him.
I disagree with this. While the ml did a lot for fl, she is also the only family he has left. You say she's his…
Hahaha right back at ya, u’ve made some great points urself. I usually ain’t confrontational but I couldn’t stand for this MJ slander. I also hate useless female leads who only get themselves in trouble, but MJ just isn’t that kind of gal.

Babe, he loves her. She’s the closest he’s ever gotten to feeling family warmth, of course he’s gonna fight tooth and nail to protect that. Seeing how u’ve mentioned the trailer, then u will have also heard him say “thank u for coming back for me”. She came back to get him out of that cesspool he found himself in and bring those godforsaken criminals down. She could’ve just lived a normal life somewhere far away, but she chose to come back for him and try and protect him. And of course they’re gonna get into some trouble with the bad guys, it’s a drama for crying out loud. This Miao Jing hate is so forced, I cannot…
Man, I can’t stop feeling weird about it. I mean, when they were kids, he was barely around and spent most of…
It's definitely an atypical and complex relationship. The whole idea of being each other's family may seem strange but at the same time you realize neither of them knew what an actual loving family feels like. They just care deeply for one another and at this very point in the drama, I don't think anyone can actually define their relationship. 'Siblings' is used for a lack of a better word for whatever it is that's going on here. I personally kinda like how complicated it all is.
Also how can we find out about the voice actors in Chinese dramas?
Depends on the drama. The VAs are usually listed as well but not always. For example, if u check, say, Legend of the Female General cast, u'll see that the voice actors are also there
