First and foremost we need to understand that making a series or a film involves an extensive multi-stage process - pre-production, principal photography, and post-production. All require careful planning, coordination, and execution, especially for complex projects with large casts and special effects.

Many companies announce the project to generate engagement and create hype around the project. However, there are plenty of reasons why some projects might not kick off right away. Budget, casting and distribution are the common problems faced. And it's a bit unfair to focus solely on Thai production because production in other countries is no different.

Then you already know the reason behind the delay. Casting the right cast is crucial. I know it firsthand, as I work in TV production myself and have handled countless auditions. Besides, it's a horror series, so I bet there needs to be thorough preparation. Thai people are very spiritual.

There are many GL series coming out soon, so waiting a little while won't be a big issue. I prefer to wait a bit longer for a well-made series than to watch a series that seems rushed.

Chill. Producing a series is not as easy as people thought especially for a small company like Baanchan. There must the some financial issue. And they're doing casting soon. At least we know something is moving forward rather than a standstill or worse, cancelation like Be Mine.

The needle or susuk is quite famous especially in Malay Archipelago region. Despite the popularity of plastic surgery, botox and fillers these days, some people still turn to susuk for their beauty needs. But the consequences are indeed scary.

I love that this drama has more mature tone and puts the queen front and center alongside the king, which is something we don't see often in historical k-dramas. I'm here for the solid performances.

So glad to find someone who thinks the same! I get that many people don’t watch this drama because it doesn’t starred A-listers and the historical inaccuracy, but somehow I like it. Love the Queen.

I hope 'Claire Nineteen Scars' is just a nickname. If that's her actual name, I hope someone will edit it with the right Thai name instead of putting the direct Google translation.

Actually, it's more like this series has 2 BL actors. And in the book, there's no BL story whatsoever.

I've read all three books and I personally like SWM the most. Zezeho's books never disappoint so far.

LingOrm both have strong face cards and it enhanced the series aesthetically. It's also a good thing that TSOU has brought many people to watch GL. But like you said the series was a let down. I probably would've liked it more if they hadn’t taken that direction in the final stretch toward the ending.

imo, TSOU book is average - not so bad, not the best either. And I was disappointed with how the series turned out. I know it's popular and a lot of people like it, but I don't. 

Now I'm trying to stay positive for Petrichor. Even though at this point it's not very satisfying, I really hope they at least don't ruin it.
