They will in the last eps... 😓 at least it’s a happy ending...

I’m finally back to watch then end of this drama after taking a short break for the last 8 full of conflicts eps... n i’m glad i did it, coz the last 8eps just sucks n like how i kinda predicted, they got back together only in the last eps! Lets’s just say from eps32 till beginning of 40, i FFWD like crazy, that’s how i managed to finish bingewatching it so fast...

They destroyed LQ’s character successfully... after he found out that there was a possibility his mom n her dad knew each other n somehow for sure he was responsible for his mom’s death, he just went out drinking in a brothel... n after that he did unreasonable things, like he blamed JBN but doesnt want JBN to leave him so he caged her at home... like what?

Then they also make JBN super annoying... i know she is mad that LQ thought her dad killed his mom, but after LQ apologized n tried to work things out with her, she just left home n being cold to him all the time... def not solving anything, n i thought she was smart...

The trainwreck was almost like TBARP, neverending probs n somehow solved in the last eps with the help of evil Gao who somehow found her happiness n just went away just like that... Like oh no!

At least ZX finally got punished? He is exiled... though it’s just so annoying knowing even till he left, he was still thinking about JBN...

N that last battle was a joke, right? I thought it was gonna be the big final battle... n turns out only between LQ & QT n everybody just watched when LQ almost got shot with that supreme weapon... so weird having all of them just stood there doing nothing... 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyway it’s a happy ending for everyone... so there’s that... n no matter how annoying the separated times was, but it doesn’t change the fact that LQ&JBN’s chems is just so good, one of the best couple of 2021 IMO...

1. No they didn’t get an official divorce, they were separated for a period of time, but they got back together in the end...
2. ZX didn’t die... he got exiled out if the city n never to return...

I’m now waiting till the last few eps out before I resume my watch… the misunderstanding week is coming n it’s a no no for me… so i’ll be back commenting on Nov 22nd after i bingewatch the last 10eps… for now i’m not even reading the latest comments, don’t wanna know what happens till it’s solved n i know for sure the leads r in good terms again… 😂😂

It’s when JBN was trapped in fire… she thought she was gonna die, so when LQ saved her, she kissed him… that’s the only kiss on the lips between our leads… i know JJY almost don’t do it in her dramas, but still hopes for a kiss of them as husband n wife… don’t know if we’ll ever get it… 🤞

Is this a fact? How do u know they r only acting n will be back together in eps37-38? Or is that just a guess?

Yeah, everybody deserves a 2nd chance… but for me personally it’ll take a while… her character as Gao just annoys me to the max that i prefer not seeing her in the dramas i watch… n for sure i won’t watch her drama if she is the FL… IMO her company failed promoting her here, unlike what they did to that Kiki who plays with JJY in TBARP… she got her own drama coming up i think… she is luckier i guess having that character as JJY’s sister n not the villain…

IMO they did that to Gao so somehow now she has something to be so angry about n basically the background of her becoming the real villain in this drama… so later on, she can create a bigger chaos n it’s now justifiable for her to take her revenge… lazy writing… 🙄

That’s a shame… since it’s a hit novel, why don’t they just stick with that? I wonder why that happens though… minor changes r ok n understandable, but why ruining it by totally changing the plots…

Or maybe the production just bought the popularity of the novel itself n never actually plan to make the drama based from it… i don’t even know if that’s common to do…

Him staring at her is just precious… i do believe he admires her in a way… anyway, it’s also just my personal opinion…

Haha yeah… i do this when i have no other dramas i watch at that moment… n just want to see some cute chemistry…

IMO JJY’s company should make production where the plot is just the average kind but maximize the lovey dovey parts between her n the ML, those good vibe kind of webdrama… coz so far she creates good chems with lots of actors playing with her… but yeah, they want chaos, so there we go… i guess they think her fanbase is big enough to keep letting her do this kind of dramas with stupid plots while promoting her company’s other actresses…

Agree… no way i’m watching her show where she is the FL… esp if she is paired with the actor i like, unless it’s a high budget production thing n she is just another support character, then it’s a maybe… but for now at least it’s highly unlikely…

Though i don’t know the response in China… does anyone know if she is accepted there? If her Gao character got good response?

She is the new actress in JJY’s company that they r trying to promote… so there’s that… 🙄

She isn’t that good of an actress to pull it off n the script def didn’t help… n Yeah, ZX needs a GF… at least he should just get laid in the brothel… don’t really care about him… for now his presence means nothing at all…

Yeah i did that too… good villain usually gives scary vibe, but what she did was just mehhh… not convincing n not interesting enough to be a psycho…

N right after LiLin came to her, she pushed him away n saying something like “don’t stay with me, i’m sinful, i’m not worth it…” like what’s with that script? Suddenly saying that coz what just happened that she really thinks she’s worthless? Or just for sympathy? It’s just so out or her character… such random things… it’s just nonsense!

QT u mean? Yeah i guess so… it’s kinda a waste, i can see him as the big bad wolf if his character is done properly… he already has that villain look…

That eps28 is a problem for me… IMO they wanna make Gao as the victim of the assault so they can establish her background as the real villain, so later on when she resurfaces n create even bigger chaos, somehow she has the reason to be so vengeful n her future actions will be justifiable… but if u ask me it’s just lousy writing…

N the monolog when she got caught was just weird with so many random things she said… n her delivery didn’t help… she isn’t a bad actress, but IMO she couldn’t pull that off… i rolled my eyeballs watching that part…
