honestly just giving it go for their face cards and the fact that every drama i've watched from this period of time (not that many tbf) are the exact same wih family that hate them and a huge betrayal/resentment theme between the main leads and plenty of affairs and whatnot. i don't have high expectations but i will keep watching to give it a chance. but if the plot keeps being that he plans something and every time she manipulates him, i might just have to drop. i hate it when things are too repetitive in the same show

It’s not bad but the story is giving like common trope for cultivation stories. Nothing wrong with that either because sometimes I really eat up a good cliche but I did find it odd, considering the rising dislike of stories like these 😅😅
