This season just doesn’t have the same vibe as the previous ones, and I honestly think the biggest reason is the new siblings. Something feels completely off. They don’t seem to match the atmosphere and natural chemistry that made Season 1 and especially Season 2 and Calape.. so enjoyable to watch.
The two younger members often come across like kids who constantly rant and complain, with their irritating voices and overly cutesy behavior that unfortunately feels forced rather than charming. Then there’s the older member, who seems to have very little idea of what to do and can’t even contribute much when it comes to basic house chores or simple cooking. Instead of adding warmth and balance to the group, the three often end up complaining, acting overly cute, or simply feeling unnatural in front of the camera. It makes this season genuinely difficult to watch at times.
I really hope the next season considers bringing in people who naturally fit the spirit and atmosphere of the program. Someone like Jooh Myun, who is reliable and dependable, or Dex, who is skillful, capable, and has exactly the right attitude for this kind of show. Jae Wook and Ji Yeon are also great examples because their charm feels effortless, they’re entertaining without trying too hard, and their personalities come across as genuine and natural. For me, the only good thing about this season and the reason I’m still watching it is because of Jung Ah and their guests.
That’s what I think this program needs people who naturally belong in the environment, not people who seem to be performing for the camera. The magic of the earlier seasons came from watching people simply be themselves, and I hope the next season can bring that feeling back.
