The teaser looks like a promising revenge thriller, but end up it is just a hs rich girl/ poor boy triangle romance. I can't say there is no plot or storyline, but just nothing impressive. rje is pretty but really too thin
i started this and i don't know if its good or not, the story is kinda interesting but both main acting are average…
There is no major issues with ML's acting i think, but agree that the FL's acting didn't live up to expectations. The FL's characterization is actually good...complex and dimensional, but just she couldn't deliver well.
I honestly wish people would elaborate on what they mean when they say people have no chemistry or what they are…
Basically chemistry is how two characters interact with each other, no matter whether that relationship is romantic or not. In a drama, i think 'No chemistry' means viewers cannot feel the intense feeling of connection and passion between characters.
The storytelling of this drama is kinda new and refreshing. Not a safe and predictable kdrama (so far till ep4), not a superhero action stuff. Acting is generally okay but i couldn't get good chemistry between two leads. Also the FL failed to deliver the complexity and dark side of the character. Overall i feel she doesn't fit that role.
Going to binge watch this later. Seems starting this year JTBC has cut the length of dramas from 16 to 12 episodes, hopefully there will be less unnecessary fillers that 16eps kdramas usually have.
Exactly like that, when people are going to understand that it is easier to make audiences cry than to make them…
yes she acted just to the point and the transition between comedy and more serious part was very natural. The FL character was well written and portrayed despite the drama itself isn't really a top show.
NF has used hrs viewed for a long time and oddly switched. It really is the best way to measure a show.Netflix…
Hours viewed isn't fair to those shows having shorter runtime/ fewer episodes eg Business Proposal only has 12 eps. No. of view is counted by accumulated hours view divided by total runtime (in hrs), so it is counted per hour not second.
Lee Ha Nee deserved the win. Good acting doesn't just limit to heavy role in serious drama, Her character is a widow in Joseon era, she managed to make it fun/ interesting yet you still got to know the harsh aspect that a widow has to deal with in daily life. She nailed both comedic and emotional scenes.
Very happy to see that Lee Ha Nee won the Best Female Actor award. Her acting was outstanding, in Knight Flower…
Yes happy for her. I bet either her or Ahn Eun-jin could win. The story of Knight Flower is simple and straight forward but her character is dimensional and her acting is superb.
Since mid last year, Netflix has used 'no of views' and abandoned viewing hours for ranking as dramas have different total runtime. QoT has much longer runtime (23.48hrs) than other 16 ep shows (18-19hrs) so logically the longer total view hours but it didn't mean more no. of views.
Some dramas having long runtime like to use total viewing hours for marketing and hyping, but the only Official chart from Netflix is the weekly Top 10 ranking, which is the only Viewership record in Manu Wiki.

This chart is a better reference.
