Not a fan of contract marriage drama, just watched because of fav actor Gong Yoo. Overall its good in terms of acting and cinematography but the plot bit repetitive and draggy, probably better made it a movie instead of a 8 eps long drama.
It was a tax audit targeting high asset celebrities, not an investigation of tax evasion from the start. He has paid back the difference according to tax authority re-assessment without any penalty then case closed. The primary objective of this kind of audit is to collect more tax for the Government. People easily confuse tax avoidance and evasion, for LJH's case using a trustee/ company for tax deductions appears to be a common tax avoidance method in many jurisdiction, nothing unusual.
The best Netflix original kdrama so far this year. Story, directing and acting were all on point, the music arrangement/ OST and cinematography were surprisingly well made. Some may feel the relationship in the show was toxic and chaotic but interesting that they were actually perfect to each other. This show deserved more hype and promotion by Netflix.
Is these first lead role I love Lee junho but I hope she can do better
Watched few episodes of her recent show Iron Family, she is okay to play as FL. According to the synopsis of Typhoon Co., Lee Junho's role (as the protagonist) seems dominant, comparatively the FL is less significant.
One of my top show last year, but not sure if it needs a season 2 as the story was wrapped up quite well already. Don't know what to expect for a new season.
The concept of the drama is good, First half was very interesting, but latter episodes became more like a family drama and barely on the 'business' anymore,
On ep3, enjoyed the show so far. A quite unique setting and storytelling with a bit dark comedy elements, definitely deserved a better rating. If people are just watching this for young couuple romance, you'll miss the main family story of the drama.
