i love Kim Minha, and this is a chance for me to get a different opinion of Lee Junho since i disliked King the…
King the Land is popular but definitely not his best work. That show is just medicore. Watch "The Red Sleeves" for which he won the Baeksang Best Actor, and his other works, he is a versatile actor who can deliver across genres. Personally I like his comedic acting in Good Manager more than KTL.
A warm and healing workplace drama that is easy to relate to. There's no complicated legal case, dramatic plot twist and intense romance, its all about daily life of professionals. Pacing is right for a slice of life drama. I like the setting of a work environment where colleagues regularly meet, eat and being supportive to each other, kind of giving viewers a relief from real-life office politics and competition that are far more prevalent than that depicted in the show..
The storyline was pretty linear. The last 3 episodes were more interesting with some drama and twists. Looks like they intended to avoid overcomplicated plot and focus on purely entertaining action sequences, but same time the show couldn't deliver much depth and dimension. The acting level of actors saved the flat characters a bit. Overall is entertaining but rewatch value is low.
Not a fan but I appreciate his efforts to transform himself from a Hallyu star who mostly hyped for visual to an actor exploring different genres and possibilities. Pachinko was a nice attempt, When the star gossips flopped hard but at least he had tried something new. Now he seems to have given up the commercial side (CF, endorsement, media play etc) and more focus on acting itself. Look forward to his next movie Assassins.
