Well, she indeed shouldn’t be there all the time she’s a married woman and in that time of history, a married woman should stay in the mansion/house. She’s a prince consort so she should be able to enter the palace but just in special occasions like being summoned by someone (usually by her mother-in-law or maybe the emperor) or in festival/banquet days but instead of being in the palace while meeting the princes, she seems to be in one of those princes mansion (and it looks like it's the 8th prince's one) which is kinda odd and uncommon.
She's the 14th Prince consort so she does have status (not to do whatever she wants freely but okay) but she did behave like that before she got that status while she was some sort of maid(?) while she was staying within the palace with the imperial concubines so I don’t really understand what’s that all about. This drama is all over the place regarding a lot of things (almost everything) but it’s specially messy with regards of palace rules and rites, it’s honestly ridiculous.
I believe it’s because he’s not in the direct line of succession, he’s neither the current king’s brother…
You're welcomed, I'm glad it was what you were looking for <3 and yep! he's a complete evil genius, I'm actually still in shock! He's going to completely backstab the king and I'm really looking forward to it lol this is an unexpected but really interesting plot twist. I'm so excited for the upcoming eps ^^
If Yool Mu is the grand prince why hasn't the king have him killed yet?
I believe it’s because he’s not in the direct line of succession, he’s neither the current king’s brother or the current king's son (he’s the son of one of the king’s brother) so technically he’s not a heir to the throne at least not by tradition, he can indeed inherit the throne but in like special circumstances like the king not having a heir or there’s no one in line before him like one of the king's brothers. The king is potentially letting him live because he doesn’t seem to care (now we know this ain’t true) and he can’t just go around killing the imperial family, it’d leave a bad impression in history and to the people lol
I knew it! I knew it! I KNEW IT! He was too perfect and kind it was kinda suspicious!!! Even tho I expected him to have at the very least one flaw I didn’t expected him to be a grand prince and the future King Injo or to be a psycho either lol that’s an interesting plot twist :o
does anyone pay attention to a man in minute 1:03? I think he is a bit strange. especially his expression.
I don’t know if you’ve watched the complete cap but I believe that’s Baek Kyung’s half brother :) which apparently also kinda likes Dan Oh or so he says lol
That’s because they decided to change the historical surrounding of the story, because they feared censorship
ohhhh, I see, now that makes more sense, I hadn't noticed they changed the characters names and all that :o welp then I'm going to be waiting impatiently for this, thank you so much for your answer <3 c:
I can’t find any motivation to keep watching. I’m not usually picky with dramas at all but this doesn’t excite me any more, I really can’t bring myself to watch it even tho I love everyone in it;u; I'll drop this and wait for it to hopefully turn interesting again :( I’m sorry Min Jae I’ve failed you 3
I’m feeling like a complete weirdo rn bc it seems that mostly everyone dislike this drama but I’m having a blast watching it ??? I look forward to it all week and laugh a lot while watching it lol it’s true the funny expressions are kinda over the top but I still like it and it’s funny to me ;u;
Man I'm so invested in this drama it's insane lol and I've become a HUGE fan of the female lead she's awesome <3 also been waiting impatiently for the ML to show up (like literally show his face istg I was about to become insane lol) Great drama I'll be waiting anxiously \o/
Don't get me wrong I'm excited about this...but I'm also quite confused about the costumes that they're wearing in He Hong Shang's latest photos about this drama (https://twitter.com/dramapotatoe/status/1177235370645176320?s=20) as far as I can tell they're definitely not wearing Qing dynasty costumes at all, not even the hairstyles match (especially Peter Ho's) and this drama is supposed to be set in that period so I'm puzzled about it and not gonna lie, almost bothered by it lol
I believe they come out every week on YouTube after the caps (4 caps, 2 per day) air on Monday and Tuesday, then…
it seems it will :o omg I haven't noticed...maybe the airing date is wrong or they'll change the schedule to 2 per week? but if it does continues the same, then yes, it'll finish airing on October 1st and the subs on October 3rd ^u^
I believe they come out every week on YouTube after the caps (4 caps, 2 per day) air on Monday and Tuesday, then the subs come out on Wednesday and Thursday (same schedule: 2 caps per day)...or at least that’s what has happened till now :)
No happy ending then? So I can drop it.... oh well! :/
More like a bittersweet one, it’s not completely happy but it doesn’t leave your heart in a wreck either, it’s a relatively calm and full filling one ❤️ I say you give it a shot! honestly is one of the best dramas I’ve ever watched 10/10
