In the writing scene, Taiga was responding to Manami when she told him that she only wanted to be by his side (while they were lying on the floor). He wrote first, "I want to be by your side, too." She writes, "Thank you." Then he writes, "Do you want some wine?" and she laughs at that and writes, "Yes." Then he writes, "Ya, cheers!"

The reason he writes it instead of saying it, was touched upon earlier, when he was talking to Tsubasa. Taiga feels like he's always played a role before when saying such things as "I love you" so easily to his customers, but when it comes time to say it sincerely, he feels as if he can't say it because it's so real and serious to him. 🥹

Can someone tell us about final episode?
Lots of tears until the end, then it’s happy. There is closure for a lot of the characters. I would have taken more happy scenes with Taiga and Manami over the screen time for the other characters like the Pietas students, but one can hope for an extra special episode afterward, maybe perhaps. 🥹

Raul and Kimura Fumino’s acting was really top notch in this episode. Their scenes were SO EMOTIONAL. So well done, even if I’ve said it a hundred times already.

For anyone who already watched the final episode, how is the ending?
Happy ending, but leaves you wanting more of them together. Lots of tears throughout the episode. Absolutely beautiful ending scene with both of them and the monologue by Manami.

I love hearing about the success of the drama. I’ve pretty much blocked out my Thursday morning to watch the finale. 😂

anyone know if ep 10 is eng subbed yet somewhere? I checked onetouch and kiss and nothing yet.
onetouch is usually ahead of kiss, but still usually takes about a week. I was able to use a VPN and watch on TVer with Chrome's auto-translate and piece things together with some minimal knowledge of Japanese. If you have a Mac, I recommend the VPN Japan app for free.

[not necessarily a spoiler so I won't hide this 😅]Watching EP 10 right now and honestly... the show's choice…
I have thought early on about the choice of Catholic school for Manami's job. It's totally in line with the control and purity aspect from her father (since he's the one who got her the job).

Also really really really loved the first 12 minutes of ep 10. I really don't have time to be watching the episode in full but AGGGHHH couldn't help myself. Does my kid really need to go to his orthodontist appointment now?? 🤣

So far I am still loving this, but I do wish there was some more skinship. I am not referring to explicit scenes,…
Just curious, which episode have you watched up to? The nature of this drama is so unexpected that most of our views have whiplashed depending on where we are in the show's timeline.

To answer your question, it doesn’t get harder to watch. It’s the opposite—the show hooks you in. Please continue to watch it and enjoy. 😊

"We don't fall in love just to be happy."Damn, that's profound.
Definitely that is part of it, but maybe more like you can't help yourself and feeling what you feel for someone. You can't stop loving someone if that's what your heart really wants, whether it ends up with a happy fairy tale ending or not.
