On Ball Boy Tactics 2 days ago
“Ball Boy Tactics” is one of the more enjoyable Korean BL series of recent years. It does not offer a particularly complex plot or major twists, but it makes up for that with a very natural relationship between the main characters. The show’s greatest strength is the chemistry between the leads, which makes even the simplest scenes engaging to watch.
What I appreciated most is that the story does not rely heavily on forced misunderstandings or unnecessary drama. The relationship develops gradually and convincingly, making it easy to become emotionally invested in the characters. The likable cast and the warm, comforting atmosphere are additional highlights.
On the other hand, the plot can be somewhat predictable, and the sports theme is not explored as deeply as it could have been.
This is a series that may not redefine the BL genre, but it proves that a well-written relationship and genuine chemistry between the leads can be far more important than the most elaborate storyline.

On My Secret Vampire 10 days ago
My Secret Vampire is a fun, lighthearted BL with great chemistry between the main couple, but the storyline is fairly average. It won’t redefine the genre, but it’s an enjoyable and easy watch for one evening. My rating: 7/10, mainly for the characters and the overall charm.

Title Secret Lover
Secret Lover has great chemistry between the main characters, but their relationship sometimes feels more toxic than romantic. The series often portrays control, jealousy, and obsession as “proof of love” instead of truly criticizing it. Tuo honestly feels like a walking red flag to me. BL dramas sometimes seem to live by the rule: “He obsessively controls you? That means he loves you.” Brilliant idea, truly. It’s enjoyable for the emotions and tension, but as a healthy romance, it falls short. Basically, it’s a BL where chemistry matters more than common sense. Rain in Asian dramas is already practically a separate plot hero. If the characters are suffering and there is no rain, the screenwriter probably gets a ticket from the television. So creators use it mercilessly. The moment a character is about to suffer, the clouds are already firing up the engine. Nature cooperates with the writing department more than the characters do with each other. 🤷‍♀️🌧️

On Romantics Anonymous 24 days ago
Anonymous Romantics is a very warm and gentle romantic series. It has a calm atmosphere, beautiful cinematography, and characters that are easy to like. Its biggest strength is the relationship between the main couple, developed slowly and naturally, without forced drama. The show does a good job of portraying shyness, fear of closeness, and how important a simple sense of safety with another person can be. It’s not an action-heavy production, but something more soothing and emotional. Perfect for an evening watch. 4,5/5 ⭐️

On Can This Love Be Translated? Mar 10, 2026
Can This Love Be Translated? is an enjoyable romantic K-drama about a translator and an actress that shows how easily misunderstandings can appear in relationships. The series has an interesting premise and good chemistry between the main characters, which makes it easy and engaging to watch. I found it enjoyable to watch.

Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight is a beautifully shot melodrama with a slow pace and a predictable plot. The story is moving, but at times it drags and can feel boring. Great if you want a sad, contemplative romance; weak if you prefer something more dynamic.

Title Switched
“Switched” is a short, dark drama with an interesting body-swap premise that focuses on emotions and relationships between the characters. It has uneven pacing, but its atmosphere and style may appeal to viewers who enjoy Japanese psychological series. For some it’s moving, for others simply decent. 6/10🌟

On Meet Me after School Jan 5, 2026
Meet Me After School is a Japanese drama about a teacher and her underage student. Technically well-made – nice cinematography, decent acting, emotional moments – but the main storyline is highly controversial and morally problematic. In real life, this kind of relationship would be inappropriate and unacceptable.Visually appealing and emotionally engaging, but the central relationship is uncomfortable, hard to accept, and ethically troubling.
