Sorry, but where in this comment section said that Lechen is a red flag? Seems that I passed it if there is any.…
I understand your frustration. I just hope those people can refrain themselves and have more self control. It's sad for me to see people like those. But don't let those people affect you negatively. Just continue to support your cp or the participant that you like positively, without dragging or shading other participants negatively. Cheers.

I honestly don’t get why everyone is upset only for Ailin and her feelings. What about Yifan, Ruilong, Zihan…
Sorry, but where in this comment section said that Lechen is a red flag? Seems that I passed it if there is any. What I see is actually some people shading Ailin as a red flag, and no one said Lechen is a red flag. Yes, I think there is someone that said that Lechen is a coward, but doesn't it the same that some people said Ailin is this and Ailin is that negatively, and even not just one person? Mostly what I see is some people disagree with Lechen and some people disagree with Ailin. And I think that's normal. Everyone has their own preferences.

Not only the viewers. Even the participants have different preferences. Just like how Lanlan and Zihan expressed their disagreement with Lechen's view and can understand Ailin's view in the "Watching Episode 5 (Part 2)". Even Lechen was flabbergasted by what he said himself in the car about "I think adults only choose, not adjust." and felt embarrased. A remark that made Lanlan "fiery" and asked for a pause to express her thinking, and Zihan said that what Lechen said was harsh.

So where is this "Lechen is a red flag" coming from? So weird!!! And for Yifan, Ruilong, Zihan, and Jiao, there are already some people already expressed their thought and support for them. It's just that this comment section is dominated with the comments for Ailin and Lechen. Even when it's mentioned that Yuan is hated, actually there is only a few that talk about Yuan here, and they talked about Yuan's smile or how they support Yuan.

If you're talking about people in Weibo or other social medias, please don't lash out here. Or make it clear that you're talking about people in other medias, so it won't cause confusion and misunderstanding because of the accusation for the people in this comment section.

I think you’re being a little unfair here. What you’re calling β€œred flags” could also just be differences…
Her friend didn't delete her multiple times. It's not her friend accepted her friend request and deleted her again and accepted and deleted again. Get your fact! It's Ailin that sent her friend the friend request multiple times every 3-4 months, because they're close friends before her friend went to college and deleted her. Her friend accepted the friend request from Ailin at the second year and they're good now. She sent only 6-8 times over 2 years at the most or even less than that, which is still understandable, it's not like she sent friend request 24 times or more over 2 years. Ailin also said that her friend could just reject her and she would stop sending friend request, implying that her friend was just "hanging" her friend request and didn't reject it. You said "instead of showing any willingness to understand her friend's pov", but how can she understand her friend's pov if there is no explanation? Ailin already said that her friend sudden departure must have a reason and that's why she kept trying to add her as friend. To know the reason/explanation so she can understand. They're close friends before. People don't have many close friends in their life, only a few. Most are just acquaintances or not close friends. If you just accept your close friend ghosting you and not trying to find an explanation, well that's your preference, but she's definitely not that type. Maybe you're the type like Lechen and that's why you resonate with him and see Ailin's view negatively. Like Lechen said to Ailin, "So you try to keep the important people around you close. You want to hold on to them ... I rarely try to hold on to friends on purpose."

"She also mentioned breaking up with her ex-boyfriend because he was willing to put in the effort to change and accomodate her but not at HER pace."
Again get your fact! She never mentioned it. Lechen asked "What if they still don't change?" Ailin answered "If they don't change, then so be it. I'll just look for common ground in the differences." She didn't force the person to change. She said about her ex-boyfriend "And I don't think that he never tried to change. It's just that everyone changes at their own pace. I think he's changing. It's just that the speed isn't what I hoped for." If she's willing to look for common ground in the differences, how could she break up just because the change wasn't at her pace? You're twisting what she said here.

"This is why it is puzzing for him and viewers on why she insists on liking him without even trying to actively listen and understand him like Yuan did."
This is answered in "More for Episode 5 (Part 2)" which they cut from the normal episode. This is in Ailin's message to Lechen, "I thought about the question in the car ...", so she did listen and thinking about it. You're so focus on your dislike about Ailin that "Ailin didn't try to actively listen and understand him", so to be fair, how about we reverse it and ask "Did Lechen try to actively listen and understand Ailin?" In the car conversation, Lechen even accused her of just always comforting herself, even after she explained herself.

You seem very bias/hate Ailin. You're free to your opinion though. Just don't twist some facts just to make her look bad.

From an Asian guy's perspective, DuoDuos attitude and character has really been a red flag. I'm definitely going…
No, you're not getting a hate, just a reprimand (at least from me), and that is for labeling someone red flag. You even don't know her personally and only see what the show edited for you to see. You're free to have your opinion and you're free to not like Ailin and criticizes her, but labeling someone as red flag is a big NO.

And why do you have to challenge someone to come at you? If you just want to express what you don't like from Ailin then just do it, without labeling someone as red flag. But if you want to make a fan war, please just go to Weibo or whatever social media that did it, but please not here. People here expressed whatever they don't like from Ailin or Lechen, but they did it in a civilized manner, not by red flagging someone, and they who did it got reprimand from others, either it's Ailin hate or Yuan hate. No one here making Lechen or Yuan to be villains. If you're talking about Weibo or other social medias, then please keep it there, don't bring the fans war here. It's quite peaceful here in the comment section and most people are just supporting the ones that they like.

For your points, Qruuz already answered them, so I won't say much about it. And it's not about culture difference between Asian vs Western, it's just like what you said yourself, your perspective. Just because you're an Asian guy, it doesn't mean that you represent other Asian guys. Some will agree with you and some also will disagree with you.

And here it begins… we are in the middle of the show and the producers will focus on the young couple’s love…
Yeah Kelong moments πŸ₯Ή And also Lanfang moments for me 😭😭

I also felt that Ailin and Lechen conversation was a bit choppy and unnatural with strange vibe when they ate together in the normal episode. Suddenly it felt different after their happy diving and surfing. Turn out that they really cut / edit the conversation πŸ˜–πŸ™„ Maybe to create the tense atmosphere in their conversation in the car after that πŸ’€

The good thing is that in the Chinese show they give what they cut for us to see (though maybe not all), while there is no hope to see it in the Korean one with their heavy (and evil) editing.

I really like Duoduo, it feels like Lechen is not deserving of her. She knows what she wants.
Yeah I am with you on that about Ailin and that Lechen needs to heal himself first.

I got the vibe already even in the train date of him and Yuan that they wouldn't have a long term relationship. Maybe only 1-2 years and then break up, just like what happened with Zhang Genyuan and Li Nieshuangyu. Yuan already described herself as stubborn (in train date) and rash person (in conversation with Jiao). We can even see it when she asked to change her answer in the dinner party when Yuhang didn't give a response that she hoped. What will happen if one day Lechen does something that makes her angry / she can't accept? Maybe she'll ask for a breakup. Yuan is a hard person and doesn't hesitate to decide something fast (that's why she said that she's a rash person).

In that situation, Lechen must be flexible and trying to find a compromise / find a way to accommodate both of them. But in the conversation in the car with Ailin, he said "I think adults only choose, not adjust". While Ailin is willing to find common ground in the differences, Lechen isn't. He even said that Ailin is just comforting herself. He's clearly unwilling to adjust himself, even if it's for the good of both him and his partner. He said that if that day really comes when they (he and his partner) have to part ways, he'll accept it willingly. So if Yuan asks for a breakup, he'll accept it willingly. He won't strive/fight for their relationship. That's why I think that Leyuan won't have a long term relationship.

Ailin, on the other hand, is willing to find a compromise if they have conflict one day. But Lechen doesn't believe that. He seems doesn't believe other view that is different from his. That's why Ailin said "No. That's your opinion.", and then he talked about "feeling touched and being suited are two different things". He's shocked when Ailin said that she enters relationship with marriage in mind. Ailin is thinking about long term relationship, but Lechen is thinking of hopping from one person to another, choosing them until he finds the one that he thinks the most suited for him. He doesn't have a mind for a long term relationship when he starts it. So Lechen wants to start from finding/choosing someone being suited for him and then grow feelings after that, while Ailin wants to start from growing feelings and then overcomes the obstacles/differences by adjusting with each other.

While I think Leyuan won't have a long term relationship, I think Kele even won't be happened. But if Lechen can accepts Ailin's view and Kele can happens, then I think they will have a long term relationship, though maybe it'll lean more to one side with Ailin keeps adjusting herself and "steering" their ship so it won't crash, while waiting for Lechen to change/adjust on his own pace.

But we still have 5 more episodes to come. So let's see what will happen.

The problem is that he didn't start from the waist, but from the ribs (and bare skin).

If he hugged the waist then maybe he could use his palm to lift her, instead of just using his arm and fingers to lift her. At least there was Lanlan's pants and no direct skinship on sensitive area. And so even if he slipped then his arm wouldn't be so near to her chest and almost touching it.

It will be even better if he asked for something to cover Lanlan's body before doing the pose. It will surely "wow" other people on site and viewers and he'll gain more support to chase Lanlan instead of receiving backlash.

What about Yuan hate? So many people on Weibo hating on her too. In the end, CP wars are weird. We are observing…
Ailin didn't request Lechen to think carefully about who he gave his cards to. He already gave his cards to both of her and Yuan. She's talking about her second card and asked Lechen to make a choice. Please don't twist it.

"Looking upset after Ailin left"
You better go back to my post and read it again. And it's weird for me. Lechen was having his feet on two boats. So did you mean that he's looking upset because he was asked by Ailin to make a choice, and that Ailin should just let him having his feet on two boats so that Lechen would not be upset?

You keep saying that he crossed his arms and stop smiling. Maybe better you go back and watch it again carefully. I went back to watch it and replay it again and again, pause, play, and replay. As I said already, I literally wrote it scene by scene. Yes he crossed his arms but he did it mimicking Ailin, and he didn't stop smiling at that time.

If you think Ailin asking Lechen to make a clear stance so she could plan her future and her next step in the house is that she's pressuring Lechen while he's having his feet on two boats, so do you think she should just be quiet and waiting for Lechen enjoying the two girls until the time in the house was over and wasting her time and just accepted whatever decision that Lechen made after that, just so that Lechen didn't feel pressured?

You keep saying that you like both Ailin and Yuan, but why do you always keep looking for Ailin's fault even if it's not there? I think that you're actually only like Yuan. I never before see someone that likes a participant but keep looking for that participant's fault even if it's not there.

The topic is "Ailin hate is forced", and some accused you for hating. You denied the accusation and then made a claim about she's pressuring Lechen, which I can't understand. Okay, let's say that Ailin was pressuring Lechen. Then what did you mean by that? So "Ailin was pressuring Lechen" justifies Ailin hate, and so Ailin hate is not forced? Is that how you defend Yuan? By dragging Ailin down? Because many people in Weibo were hating on Yuan then Ailin must be hated also to make a balance?

You said that maybe it’s good pressure. So if it's a good pressure then why is it a problem for you? A problem that even justifies Ailin hate?

It's not a matter of perspective. It's about your stance to the topic. That's why many people made a counter to what you said or accused you as hating. Though the topic is "Ailin hate is forced" and there is no relation to Yuan since it didn't mention anything about Yuan, you dragged Yuan into it.

Maybe it's just your choice of words that's wrong. You said "What about Yuan hate? So many people on Weibo hating on her too." to counter the OP. In my opinion, you should just say "I think that Yuan hate is also forced. So many people on Weibo hating on her too. Those two poor girls.", and then continue with the rest of your sentence in that post." That makes it clear that you also defend Yuan (if you want to mention her) and is in line with what you claimed that you like both Ailin and Yuan.

"What about Yuan hate?" sounds more like you're retorting/challenging the OP, implying that because Yuan is hated then Ailin must be hated also and Ailin hate is not forced, hence the accusations, and aggravated with your claim about Lechen's pressure by Ailin.

I know that your reply was meant to conclude this peacefully, but really sorry that I have to disagree with your claim or perspective about Lechen's pressure because it's not true that Ailin asked Lechen to think carefully about who he gave his cards to, and hence pressuring Lechen. I agree with you though that Lechen had to make a decision and not dragging this situation, so the girl that was rejected would still have enough time for her next step in the house.

I can't comment about the production crew because I don't know whether it's true or not.

But yeah I also felt uncomfortable when I saw Jiao hugged Lanlan on her bare skin really near to her chest. I can't imagine how dr. Fang felt at that time. Though I have to give Jiao the benefit of the doubt looking at how he clenched his fist and not touching Lanlan's skin with his palm.

And yeah I agree with that comment that they should lend Lanlan something to cover her body first before doing the pose.

I am a bit shame with your praise. It's only a normal observation for me, but hey, a praise is a praise, and it's good so thank you very much! 😊

I think Lechen's hesitation is not because of his inferiority thing. If Lechen's inferiority is the problem then I don't think he will chase a girl or accept a girl's approach because he'll think that he's not worth it. He even felt that he had to do his 100%, 120%, 200% just to make a person to like him in the past. So that should not be his problem. In my personal opinion, it's because he felt uncertain about his feelings and was torn between Ailin and Yuan.

Ailin was his first choice and that's why he approached Ailin and because Ailin liked him also (even first before him) then they became intimate fast with each other. Their situation was more or less like that of Lanlan and Fang (Fang approached Lanlan and Lanlan liked him so they became intimate fast). But then Yuan approached him proactively and he liked the attention from Yuan. He's torn because he certainly had feelings for Ailin since she's his first choice and as can be seen in the sport day when he tried to console Ailin and how he thought that it's Ailin that invited him to the train date, but he also started to grow feelings for Yuan so he didn't reject Yuan's approach, unlike how he rejected Wang Jue's approach. I guess that he's so tempted that he even prepared Yuan's card before Ailin's, and that he actually wanted to go and give it to Yuan secretly after preparing the card, but Yuan beat him to it and even came to him openly. That's why he's being indecisive. He didn't want to lose both girls. Though he understood what Ailin meant and could just say that he liked Yuan, but he's unwilling to let Ailin left him, so he didn't want to give an answer and hence his complicated thoughts.

I understand what you meant with Oscar and Leyan that this season is lacking. But we have many brave girls this season which other seasons are lacking (except Yang Ruqing in S6 which still impresses me until now). So there's plus and minus. I also agree with you that we should support happiness for everyone. This is their lives, and we're just viewers so let's just enjoy the show 😊

What about Yuan hate? So many people on Weibo hating on her too. In the end, CP wars are weird. We are observing…
Lechen's pressure was not because of Ailin, but it came from that both girls knew that he gave his cards to each of them, so he felt awkward. He even said "Wait a second. Wasn't it supposed to be a secret?"

He didn't stop smiling. He crossed his arms mimicking Ailin that crossed her arms, not because of pressure. Because she saw that Lechen gave Yuan his card, she didn't know whether it's just a polite reply or that he's interested in Yuan, though she's surely suspicious because of what happened in the sport day and how readily Lechen gave his card to Yuan. Lechen had been intimate in his communications with her until Yuan's train date with him happened. That's why she teased Lechen at the beginning about how fast he wrote his card and Lechen just played dumb.

She then told him that she didn't write a name in her second card because she wanted to see first what Lechen did (whether Lechen gave his card to anyone else other than her). What's the situation would be? She wanted to check it first. Should she write the name (Lechen's name) in person for the second card? She's asking that to Lechen, not asking herself. And that's when Lechen started to be serious and not playing dumb anymore, because it's a serious question. But he still had his smile there. Ailin went on with saying that she's been torn for a long time whether her second card was for the person's name (Lechen) or kept leaving it blank, because she felt that half of the time (in the house) had already passed and she thought that every choice should be considered carefully. She told Lechen that she was worried that he would feel pressured so that's why she only wrote one card for him, not both of her cards.

Ailin was asking Lechen to make a choice, a clear stance whether he's serious with her. If he said to Ailin to write his name on the second card then that means he's serious with her and asked for all of her cards for him. And if he said to leave it blank or write another name instead, then that would mean that he told her he's not serious with her or that he had another option besides her (Yuan). So if he said that "No" then that means Ailin wouldn't need to waste her time anymore on Lechen. That's Ailin's right to ask.

But Lechen said to not worry too much about his feelings. Ailin could only reply "If you says so, that's fine. You're not afraid of pressure. Alright, that's fine. Do you like this move? Okay" and left disappointedly because Lechen didn't give a clear answer. Lechen hanged Ailin in an uncertain situation.

And that's WHEN he felt the pressure because of the situation, not because Ailin pressured him. He's torn between Ailin and Yuan. He couldn't be happy go lucky anymore with the two girls having his feet on two boats. He had to start making up his mind. Just like what he said to Yuan that he had complicated thoughts.

I literally wrote it scene by scene. Lechen was on Ailin before but then he changed and started to be on Yuan also. Ailin saw that and she asked for a clear answer because half of the time in the house already passed and she didn't want to be stuck on someone that's not serious with her while she's serious with that person. She's basically saying "If you're not serious with me then I will leave, but if you're serious with me then don't make a misunderstanding with another woman".

The women in the panel understood that. Even Du Haitao which is a man understood that. It's already a wonder that no women in the panel roasted Lechen like what happened to Muchen, especially Chunye as mentioned by someone in the comment section. So I can't understand how Ailin gave Lechen a lot of pressure, which is repeatedly mentioned, and he stopped smiling and closing himself off by crossing his arms. The pressure that Lechen felt was from the situation that he created himself.

I am not saying that you're hating. But I also can't understand your claim about the pressure.

Why did i feel that when ruilong give ailin his invitation card, actually ailin ask ruilong what kind of relationship…
It's not that Ailin felt that Rui Long only behaved like socially friendly towards her.

First she said that her second card was still blank when Rui Long asked whether she had no more card left (because Rui Long saw that she hesitantly accepted the card), and then said that she gave her first card to Lechen, indirectly telling Rui Long that she liked Lechen (or at least interested in him) and had no interest with other guys (that's why her second card was blank).

Because this was a dating proposal card, Rui Long giving this card to her made Ailin wondered whether Rui Long liked her or not. First the train date and then a dating proposal card. So she said to Rui Long that after the train date she wondered whether why Rui Long felt comfortable with her was because of her social personality with everyone, or was it because of she herself as a person (indicating that Rui Long was interested in her)? She then added that she didn't know whether Rui Long understood that.

She went on with that "being boyfriend and girlfriend is not the only goal, right?" and "being good friends is also a great thing", trying to reject him indirectly so it wouldn't hurt him too much. That's why Rui Long took a step back, but still unwilling to let the date went away, he said that he just wanted to hang out. Since he said that, Ailin saw no reason to reject his offer and gave him her second card. I don't think Rui Long saying he's serious is a wise move, because then Ailin wouldn't give him her second card and Rui Long couldn't have his date with Ailin.
