The story is not very elaborate. It's simple and they don't dwell much on back stories of the characters. It's just a story of their "now" and I liked that. Other than that, I really liked the acting for the cast, especially the male lead. He was just more than a prick and had realistic sides to him that showed so. The actress is really pretty and I wasn't annoyed by her one bit. She was the actual reason I chose to watch it by seeing her on the Netflix poster. She looked so pretty and cool, and I wasn't disappointed at all after watching the movie.

Other than these factors, what got me was how aesthetically pleasing this entire movie was. It's a visual treat not only because of the food but also because of the sceneries and the background too.

The romance is realistic in my opinion as well. It's platonic but also emotionally intimate. Their chemistry is pretty good and pulls off that kind of depiction nicely. I miss these kinds of moments and romances. It was indeed refreshing to watch it.

It has rewatchable value (I wouldn't watch it until maybe a few months later, though) and it's also a cute romance movie you can enjoy with the family and the younger crowd. I would also recommend watching when you are having a rough day and need something that isn't too intense and just sweet.

The story isn't all that great but it doesn't matter. It's supposed to be fun and not make sense. So just push away your logic and intelligence for a while when you watch this and I guarantee that you will enjoy it thoroughly. The comedic parts are really epic and the acting is pretty good too. Of course, Jackie Chan and Aarif are phenomenal but Sonu Sood as the villain was both menacing and hilarious. I liked how things progressed and fell into place effortlessly and they managed to make such an entertainer with fusing two cultures. It's very easy to go wrong when you blend such differing cultures to support one concept. Some parts were really heartwarming as well and though the original release has the Chinese song, do make sure to check out the song the Indian release had because it's awesome and hilarious. It definitely is a treat watching Chinese actors, esp Jackie Chan, Aarif and Lay dance on Bollywood tunes.

The story is simple but has a unique setting which made it refreshing to watch. The romance also didn't drag unnecessarily in places that nowadays I expect romances to drag. Nor was there unnecessary villains or drama. I couldn't stop watching and this is now rare for me, especially for simple, romcom type of dramas.

The acting was phenomenal. I fell in love with all the characters. Lee Sung Kyung is so pretty and talented. She easily became the reason I continued to watch this along with Nam Joo Hyuk.

This entire drama is just...feel good and heartwarming. The characters are endearing and the story progression effortless and perfect that keeps you engrossed until the end. Personally, one of the best romantic comedy dramas I have watched.

Yeah, it's a common plotline but I still enjoyed it a lot. Everyone's acting was good and of course, FOOD AESTHETICS along with good-looking people. Nothing intense and a good watch for days and times when you need something less intense to relax. And...though the storyline was not unique, I was taken aback by Yonghwa's role in the movie. I wasn't expecting much from the movie nor from him but I really liked him in the movie. His parts were dubbed so that awkwardness was there but still...I applaud him for his effort. He did justice to the character he portrayed. And in contrast to what I was expecting, his character development took a different turn so that was refreshing to watch as well.
