Since I could remember, I've been surrounded by Asian dramas my whole life. Growing up in a Taiwanese family, little me was introduced to this world by my mom. Mostly, I just watched what my mom was watching and slowly became uninterested. In 2018, Meteor Garden was on Netflix and I decided to give it a try. That was my first drama (that I could remember haha), and it was my welcome to this world again.
My life's kinda confusing :) I'm a teen born in the US, but I have lived in Mexico my whole life (still living here btw, it's great). Why Mexico? Ask my parents bruh they literally met here. Due to that, I can speak 4 languages- English (bc of school), Spanish (ofc), Mandarin, and Taiwanese (no, they aren't the same)- I'm very grateful to my parents for having me grow up in two different cultures and not forgetting their own. Although we always speak Mandarin and Taiwanese in my house, my writing and reading skills are far beyond my speaking ones. I suck so much at writing (help lmao I'm a disgrace), but I'm improving in reading.

I only watch Korean, Chinese, and Taiwanese dramas. I think I enjoy those that speak Mandarin more bc I can do many things without looking at the screen as I have to do in Kdramas. I can become totally addicted to a drama and fall into a hole without knowing what to watch next. Some of the phases I've been through are mainly Chinese like Ashes of love, Love and Redemption, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, The Untamed, Goodbye my Princess, and a Taiwanese one called Someday or One Day (it's sooo good!!). I'm just doing this for fun so we'll see how it goes :))
