What is going on with Sung-mi? You have a strong woman, who knows what she wants. For some reason she falls for the jealous dr whatever, and turns into a clingy emotional wreck when he ghosts her for a couple of days due to some frigging photo shoot. She could do so much better.
My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
“What if historical figures such as Akechi Mitsuhide, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Minamoto Yoshitsune, and Tokugawa Ieyasu had smartphones?” The entire show progresses centered on the smartphone screen.
Especially the ML, I'm gonna scold you because I'm angry about ghosting you for years. WTF. Kudos to the writer creating a character I just can't stand.
And of course she'll end up together with him, facepalm.
sorry for my bad english 🤗😅just a question ? if it's so good how ml act a simp and fool , why never see…
I think a couple of dramas from 2015-16 had doormat FLs. I don't like them either. Although I can see how it can be more entertaining or dramatic to explore the extremes. It's just not my cup of tea. I like adult main characters to be at least somewhat emotionally mature and have some common sense, unless there is some specific reason for them not to be.
The title is program here. All stories are somewhat depressing. Watching it when you're feeling down is probably not a good idea, unless it makes you feel better seeing other people struggle.
One thing that confused me was how an insult was explained away as being meant as flattery. That is some next level mental gymnastics.
No housing shortage in kdrama land (EP9). You can get a place closer to your job and move in on the same day. IRL looking for a new place for two months now, sigh.
I am probably overanalyzing this. But I am somewhat bothered by the infantile personality of the ML with his childish theatrics, clingy behaviors, rejection sensitivity.
And then there is the other guy, the penetrant prankster. Whom I also find annoying, just as the FL does. :P
Learned another thing thanks to episode 8. I wondered about the headphones in the MRT. It turns out there are special headphones that don't use ferromagnetic materials and are safe to use in an MRT.
I am enjoying the show. But I feel like the emotional immaturity, displayed by the ML in particular, would work better if the characters where younger, in their early twenties maybe.
Also a number of commenters below are taking the show way too seriously. It is fiction, not a depiction of reality. The FL is not dumb, she's an adorkable nerd in a pseudoscientific world.
Oh wow, nice to hear German in a kdrama (Seo Si Won EP3). Although I had to rewind and listen to it again to understand it, the intonation wasn't quite right. :)
I can't stand people like Seung Hyo. Instead of communicating their issues/feelings they get standoffish and just plain bitchy. But of course the FL will end up with him anyway.
I'd actually love to see a drama where such a character loses out and realizes that such behavior is not okay.
Okay, the telepathy thing is a bit too pseudosciency for me.
The show made me look up research in DNA and infidelity though. While there is no such thing as a cheating gene. There is speculation that genes related to sensation seeking, like a certain variation of dopamine receptor gene, can be associated with a greater likelihood of ONS and cheating.
trying to understand the logic of firing your most famous lawyer whose tv appearances literally brings in clients…
I found the preview confusing too. She is a 17-year veteran star lawyer. Even when fired she shouldn't have any problems finding a job, opening her own Law Firm. Also her being all in tears (because of the job?) doesn't fit her character.
First episode, left cheek. It is the reason why everyone calls her ugly. She herself identifies it as poisoning. But then it is suddenly gone. Because she somehow magically removes it?
My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.

It might be fine for trailer, but watching a whole series filmed like that feels grating.
