I am sorry, but Choi Jin Hyuk can't do romance. I am just not feeling it. I don't get why the FL is into the ML.
And now there is a possible super awkward second coupling involving his assistant. I mean, good for him I guess, possibly getting together with a very attractive young woman.
I am halfway through. And there is something that still bothers me. Why did she give up looking for a cure and instead started looking for some boy she met as a child?
It makes sense for the writer, keeping the leads together etc. But it doesn't make sense for the FL character being a wandering doctor. Have I missed something?
Ko Won is starting to creep me out too. Despite being an idol, he seems to have no notion of personal space whatsoever. It's also weird how it is portrayed as something funny.
In reality, is there no such thing as joint custody of children when parents divorce in South Korea?
Joint custody is possible but it is very unusual afaik. Child's welfare has priority. I guess if the divorce was amicable and there aren't any disagreements in regards to child rearing it might be granted.
I can't get away the feeling that ML is emotionally manipulating the FL.
It's like he's constantly playing the push and pull game. One episode he's pissed for things not going his way and blames her for it. Next episode she apologizes for things not going his way and he is suddenly the most understanding man out there.
Yes, she is very reserved and cautious in regards to romantic relationships. But he should be aware of that by now and just fcking chill. Just be there for her, not try to force things.
Another drama with Choi Jin Hyuk as lead. And just as in The Tunnel I find him utterly unlikable. It's this aggressive, rude, snarky character type I just can't stand. But I guess it fits him as an actor. I don't find him convincing when he has to act gentle and caring.
I don't like how Yi Heon suddenly became corporeal for story reasons. I wish they would have handled it better, maybe allowed him to posses his own body under some specific conditions for a short period of time (during full moon or whatever).

I wish they would produce more of such stuff, instead of the whole cheating, non-trad relationships shtick.

Koo Han Su has got plenty of room to grow, given how gullible he is. 😂
And he is starting to annoy me here too. Which sucks, because the show as such is pretty decent so far and the FLs are great.

I am at EP21 btw.
Characters doing stupid things for plot reasons, sigh...
Still a good show though.
