Binged the first 5 episodes. But the following 5 episodes were not as engaging and at times
boring, especially the lore dumps. Not sure if I'll continue.

What a waste of good actors.

A lot of over the top supernatural action and gore. But that's about it. A downgrade compared to the first movie.

This show really hits my strings. I had a situation a few years ago. It wasn't really comparable to a terminal illness. But the rush to want to live every moment consciously was there.

I think they are overdoing it a bit with the trope of the green flag forest male character saving himself up for the female character, while she is out there having relationships. And here you have two of them in one show.

The first episode pulled me right in. I like the mood they are going for. The characters are interesting too.

I get that she is apparently (dreaming being) in a webtoon. But it feels a bit too cartoonish for me.

A decent story ruined by the FL being stupidly stubborn.

This after The Longest Day in Chang'an! I am really impressed, hope to see more of such novel adaptions.

Enjoying the show, but there is something I don't understand. Why is Bodhisattva such a dick? What did ML do wrong to deserve such treatment?

14 episodes in and low-key annoyed.

Why would they fight an apparent martial arts god, the foster son, head on? Why not just poison him? They had the perfect opportunity to do it in the beginning of 14. Instead you have dozens of people dying, just to soften him up, so that FL can get a surprise kill and show off her martial arts skills?

Generally, as ML is not a martial artist himself, I'd expect at least some poison shenanigans.

Not rewatch material. But it's fine for what it is, a light feel-good drama.

I am halfway trough and the permanently angry yelling ML is starting to annoy me. Also FL has this "deer in headlights" look sometimes.
As other commenters mentioned, the first few episodes with the child actors were so much better.

Just watched a few episodes. The FL looks way too young and her childish mannerisms don't help either. With all those adult men around her, it feels kinda creepy.

I like it, got a little teary in ep 2. :)

Having watched the first two episodes, I am appalled how indifferent everyone is in regards to FL's situation. Her "mother" is completely unhinged, sister just goes along with it. ML sees her as a useful tool at best, a nuisance otherwise.

Wow, ML was I really shitty BF. He shouldn't have dated at all, given how obsessed he is with his own body.

If toxic MLs are your thing, then this one is a 10/10 I guess.

I'd suggest you watch the drama a bit more before jumping to conclusions and going off on a rant.

Alcohol was not the reason for the break up.

So I took a break after episode 5, tried to get back into it today. But I m just not feeling it, have been skipping trough episode 6 and decided to drop it.
