As I consider lovely runner almost perfect kdrama because drift away from fatalism and Korean sadness of unchanging fate, into agency of changing it. Yet it didn't end as satisfying for me as it could. While you were sleeping is biggest antithesis to Korean "han" (한). Scenario presents many cases of changing fate, dreams about future, even nesting in each other before completion - making decision based on dream, can be included in prophecy. This show that changed future as happening simultaneously. Or cases of plain decision point where you have two different versions of future or even make own original path (why it's so rare in scenarios?). Writer showing us that we forge own destiny, in moment it making decisions we create new fate, that can be altered again. This feat alone makes this drama truly revolutionary! Really liked morning breakfasts, communication and support instead misscommunication. It's first drama I've watched where second ML don't make ML anxious/jealous, all are adult about they life priorities and considerate about each feelings. Showing that being greatful that we are alive is more powerful than ego needs. New case every few eps make whole script more dynamic there isn't any drag out or "separation downtime" around usual 12-14th ep. This scenario is a masterpiece, and all other aspects with music and acting is on highest tier. What is also rare it's ambiguous morally, openly deliberate on what I wrong and good in consequences without predetermined mindset which is always better for the plot and character growth. For me it's first kdrama I can put on perfect 10/10 "Being greatful could be sense of life"
wonder why prosecution didn't add accomplice of attempt to kill Nam for lawyer Lee, they knew he put sleep pills in her tea. Also lawyer team bring back matter of false evidence in serial killer case which they know it Lee who did it and if prosecution prove it, it will give motive for killing Nam together with serial killer 🤨 wonder how it will play out in last ep
why ml didn't lock director and her sidekick in underground prison when they walk in and he walk out. he knows he can't take her out legally and she try to kill 3 agents
so far in first 3eps miss opportunity for situational comedy of transfer student known from anime :/ hope they don't waste setting focusing only on his secret mission
why demons rules have so many plot holes 🤣 Bael forgive her in reward of sending back satan, yet ask to sent J too. When she would do it it makes his 13kills + 7 or rest 4 murders total 20 and her mission passed. so in fact she didn't get any reward for sending Satan 🤣
