my scores mostly reflect how I felt in the moment, so take them with a grain of salt. that said, they’re usually pretty literal. a 5 is the exact midpoint between “masterpiece” and “why did I do this to myself.” anything above a 6 or 7 might be recommendation-worthy, but honestly you're better off reading the reviews instead of trusting the numbers alone.

you’ll mostly find k/t/j dramas here, with the occasional rare c-drama sneaking in. i’ve got a soft spot for psychological horror, doomed romance, morally questionable cinema, dark fiction, slice-of-life gems, awkward comedies, and tearjerkers. not huge on period pieces or fantasy (sorry, armor and dragons), but hey, i’m trying to branch out. slowly. With caution…
