I Need Season 2

I am absolutely obsessed with this adaptation! As a massive fan of the webtoon and anime, I had super high expectations, and Japan completely delivered. Ōji Suzuka is perfect as Shimura- he nails that pathetic-but-determined underdog energy so well, and his chemistry with Kanegon is hilarious. It’s a quick 6 episodes, so some training arcs are compressed, but the pacing is fantastic and that finale cliffhanger left me desperate for Season 2! If you love a good zero-to-hero comedy, definitely check this out. I just posted my full, detailed thoughts and ending breakdown over: https://myasianbinge.com/viral-hit-review/ if you want to read a deeper review!

my absolute favorite obsession ends!

Oh my gosh, this show is an absolute riot! Kim Hyang-gi is pure comedy as a secret BL web novelist, and her crush on her mysterious maths teacher Cha Hak-yeon, is giving me life. The hilarious pettiness over those hidden glasses in the early episodes completely hooked me. I am utterly obsessed! I have written a full review: https://myasianbinge.com/absolute-value-of-romance-review/ if anybody wants to check out^^

Unhinged and I Love It

The WONDERfools is the exact kind of unhinged energy I’ve been craving.
Most hero shows try way too hard to be all dark and rugged, but this one is just like, "What if we gave people powers, but they were also just absolute disasters at being actual humans?" It’s petty, and I’m pretty sure the main characters have less self-control than I do on a Friday night.

If you're looking for something that doesn't take itself too seriously but still manages to be weirdly endearing, this is the one.

I’ve been logging my thoughts and keeping up with the latest discussions over: https://myasianbinge.com/the-wonderfools-review/ - it’s honestly become my go-to spot to vent about these characters' questionable life choices.

If you want to join the chaos and see what everyone else is saying about the latest episodes, you should definitely check out the community there.

My sleep schedule is officially a disaster, but this show is worth it.
