Clichè but done right, chemistry is the winner for me.
The most important thing in a drama for me in chemistry & that includes the overall chemistry b/w main leads as well as their interaction with the side characters. The found family trope is my favourite & sheng siling's fireworks just adds to it on a whole different level. ...LAUGHS***
I LOVED THE AESTHETICS OF KALEIDOSCOPE.
THE GREENS AND YELLOWS WERE SO PRETTY AT NIGHT..
I think how the drama incorporated suspense/thrill was somewhat NOT offputting & quite interesting for me cause I'd been already loving the rom-com side of the drama in which the first is basically focused on.
Adding to that, i also feel like the childhood lovers trope is overused BUT AGAIN IDK THEY DID IT BEAUTIFULLY.
I like stargazing just like the leads so I may be biased but i'd love to rewatch it someday when I've lost glimpses of most scenes.
ALSO I MUST MENTION THE SECOND AND THIRD COUPLE DYNAMICS ARE MILDLY TOUCHED BUT THAT'S ACTUALLY REALLY INTELLIGENT OF THE DIRECTOR CAUSE ALREADY THE PLOT IS TIGHT SO DWELLING TOO MUCH ON THEM CAN GET THE PLOG STAGNANT.
ALSO, THE BRIEF INTERSECTIONS B/W ARE ENOUGH TO FEED MY DELULU MIND
Lastly, for some people it will be just another clichè rom-com & for people like me it could be a breathe of fresh air from heavy plots & stuff.
P.S. : Not a single average ost.
Specifically the OST they play when someone is in LOVEEEEEE ~ is my favourite <3
