I wanted to wait until the episode was over to see if Knait was gonna apologize but he never did. I hated how he abused Toto (partially) because he was frustrated with the situation with lion that he slept with Toto to fill some "void" or cope with said "sadness" even if Toto consented to it, i felt it was a really low thing to do.. especially to the person who's been by your side for so long ( I didn't forget about the debt) I felt disappointed and even worse because toto didn't mind, they went along like it was a NORMAL thing and it rubbed me the wrong way
I feel like that part could've definitely been written better š¤·āāļø
This whole drama feels stiff they act, but they make it very obvious. Though i cant say i dont feel the chemistry between them just that it's not too strong. it's watchable just not authentic enough for me. I've seen similar plots one to many timeš¤·āāļø
"Ever since Cherry Magic"? I've been wanting more from this ship since kiss me againš
Yes the two are connected ! i understand where your coming from, as i did watch dbk before kiss me again but i think you should try giving kiss me again a try and then transition into dbk, for me it was really enjoyable ^^ they explored coming out in a really great way and it came together well. but i understand tho! some scenes do seem a bit bland especially with how different and colorful modern bl has gotten š Either way no need to force yourself through it lets just enjoy a dog and a plane š
I hope the Tong fan who swore heād NEVER do a BL is ok š
No, because I keep wondering if something happened behind the scenes, because WHY would he put himself in this specifically after all that has happened with boomš
When I first heard there was going to be a remake of Love Destiny, I was honestly excited. But then I found out it was going to be a BL remake, and that made me a little hesitant. NOT IN A BAD WAY, but more like⦠I genuinely donāt know what to expect.
For me, if youāre going to remake something, especially Love Destiny, there should be something meaningfully different about it besides just changing the pairing. And Iām not even talking about changing the story itself, because the original story is already unique and strong enough on its own.
What Iām mainly curious (and slightly worried) about is how theyāre going to handle the relationship dynamics.
Iāve already seen people saying itās probably going to be āAugustLengā. based on the actorsā previous roles, where one tends to play the more dominant character and the other the more submissive one. And honestly⦠I hope they donāt lean too heavily into that.
My issue isnāt with roles existing at all, but I feel like a BL adaptation of heterosexual romances end up recreating the exact same male/female dynamic instead of letting the relationship feel natural between two men.... like a same-gender relationship doesnāt have to be boxed into strict āhusband/wife,ā dominant/submissive stereotypes to work yk.
Iām hoping the remake gives us more versatility, balance, and chemistry rather than immediately assigning fixed roles to both characters. Iād rather see a relationship that feels mutual and emotionally believable instead of one person clearly being written into a traditionally āmaleā role and the other into a traditionally āfemaleā one.
That being said, Iām still interested in watching it, and I genuinely hope it turns out good because the concept has a lot of potential.
Honestly I feel like huwei and bomi will be the endgame in the show but not in real life... Why? Because huwei is kinda one-sided in my eyes... The only times he actually feels attracted to bomi is when he quote on quote looks "cute". I'm saying this because of what he said about muscular guys and how he doesn't like them because he's been around them for too long or smth. Matter a fact he didn't even like when bomi grew his beard out.. so I feel like yeah... They will and won't be the end game. But I hope they TRULY are !!! It's just huwei and his feelings got me feeling slightly contradicted...
and honestly i couldn't of been more right, like huwei was just not giving off actual feelings TOWARDS bomi. especially at the end where he said that he wants to be sure that he likes him... and goes on to say that he was gonna ask bomi the boyfriend question "first" like sir?! there were literally no signs of you going to do thatš (maybe they cut it out but still...) im just waiting to see if they're actually still together
I feel like that part could've definitely been written better š¤·āāļø
