"Ever since Cherry Magic"? I've been wanting more from this ship since kiss me again😭
Yes the two are connected ! i understand where your coming from, as i did watch dbk before kiss me again but i think you should try giving kiss me again a try and then transition into dbk, for me it was really enjoyable ^^ they explored coming out in a really great way and it came together well. but i understand tho! some scenes do seem a bit bland especially with how different and colorful modern bl has gotten 😅 Either way no need to force yourself through it lets just enjoy a dog and a plane 💐
I hope the Tong fan who swore he’d NEVER do a BL is ok 😭
No, because I keep wondering if something happened behind the scenes, because WHY would he put himself in this specifically after all that has happened with boom😭
When I first heard there was going to be a remake of Love Destiny, I was honestly excited. But then I found out it was going to be a BL remake, and that made me a little hesitant. NOT IN A BAD WAY, but more like… I genuinely don’t know what to expect.
For me, if you’re going to remake something, especially Love Destiny, there should be something meaningfully different about it besides just changing the pairing. And I’m not even talking about changing the story itself, because the original story is already unique and strong enough on its own.
What I’m mainly curious (and slightly worried) about is how they’re going to handle the relationship dynamics.
I’ve already seen people saying it’s probably going to be “AugustLeng”. based on the actors’ previous roles, where one tends to play the more dominant character and the other the more submissive one. And honestly… I hope they don’t lean too heavily into that.
My issue isn’t with roles existing at all, but I feel like a BL adaptation of heterosexual romances end up recreating the exact same male/female dynamic instead of letting the relationship feel natural between two men.... like a same-gender relationship doesn’t have to be boxed into strict “husband/wife,” dominant/submissive stereotypes to work yk.
I’m hoping the remake gives us more versatility, balance, and chemistry rather than immediately assigning fixed roles to both characters. I’d rather see a relationship that feels mutual and emotionally believable instead of one person clearly being written into a traditionally “male” role and the other into a traditionally “female” one.
That being said, I’m still interested in watching it, and I genuinely hope it turns out good because the concept has a lot of potential.
Honestly I feel like huwei and bomi will be the endgame in the show but not in real life... Why? Because huwei is kinda one-sided in my eyes... The only times he actually feels attracted to bomi is when he quote on quote looks "cute". I'm saying this because of what he said about muscular guys and how he doesn't like them because he's been around them for too long or smth. Matter a fact he didn't even like when bomi grew his beard out.. so I feel like yeah... They will and won't be the end game. But I hope they TRULY are !!! It's just huwei and his feelings got me feeling slightly contradicted...
and honestly i couldn't of been more right, like huwei was just not giving off actual feelings TOWARDS bomi. especially at the end where he said that he wants to be sure that he likes him... and goes on to say that he was gonna ask bomi the boyfriend question "first" like sir?! there were literally no signs of you going to do that😭 (maybe they cut it out but still...) im just waiting to see if they're actually still together
ahhh we're finally at the climax!!! im siked to see what'll happen next 😄 but also sad that this will be ending without getting the recognition it truly deserves 💔
the product placements are killing me 😭its as if they're like "alright we need to advertise something- OH LETS ADD A RANDOM AND IRRELEVANT SCENE TO BALANTLY BROADCAST THE ITEM" like there are ways to subtly do it.. ( ̄_ ̄|||)
the opening alone told me this was gonna be good. First episode was amazing!!! i was shocked on how good the quality was especially the production im definitely gonna be tuning into this 😌 Go watch it everyone you won't regret it!
