17 to 18 minutes per episodes . 1.5 minutes opening credit and almost 5 minutes closing credits? is this for real? this is not the first time i saw a show like this but this is really annoying when the story itself is already moving too slowlyand they only have 8 episodes. Why not justrelease it as a movie? the way the two leads smile and flirt to each other you wouldnt think one of their father just died.
No doubt the leads are one of the best lookings bl couple now. Oliie is a promising actor, you wouldnt think this is his first drama - great facial expressions. He just needs to eat at least 1 burger a day. Shu Yuan on the other hand reminds me a bit of Kristen Stuart - his face is the same for every scene whether sad or scared or angry he has what they call a constantly constipated look.
most of Chinese actors are painfully thin... very few (no one coming to mind right now) have a somewhat healthy…
the sad part is just a few years ago, Chinese actors doesnt look tiny but more on healthier side. Stay WIth Me actors looked ok during the filming of that series. The leads of Sammy's Day also look healthier (but can we consider that China)
Yes I've noticed this too, they are very thin, looks like unhealthy weight loss. Even tian xuning was so thin.
OMG yes i noticed that too during the airing of Revenged Love, but at least he didnt have to take off his shirt as much as the MLs here in Deep In. Even the 3 main actors in Double Helix except for Ayden was noticeably very slim. Also the 3 main leads of ABO desire except Li Pei In can also be considered very thin
no but seriously, i worry for these sctors sometime. i fear its becoming a trend for actors, but looking so thin and fragile just doesnt just look right, at least for me. the fact that they have tons of shirtless/almost naked scenes in this series, the production should at least consider something like changing angles or something.
spoiler alert. the very first scene when Zhen Xin was on top of Zhang Zhun and both of them were wearing only boxers, i remember telling myself Ollie's ass looks so bony. And yes you are also right, theres a couple of scenes i can remember them showing Shu Yuan from the waste and those pants are just being held by a belt.
the first scene was so intense i thought its going to be one of those trashy bls, but the episodes and their chemistry just keep getting better, im so hooked.

This drama is so good it deserve at least am 8.5 compared to all the other craps with higher ratings being aired now or has recently concluded (i am not saying its tuphoon family).
So much has happened in the latest episode there were a few times i expected them to cut for a cliffhanger but the show just kept going. YKS is divine as an action star
As much as I love Sea-Keen, something should start happening soon because the episodes are getting kinda repetitive with very little story development. Like seriously, what is new this episode except for those superPG sex scenes.
2nd episode is at least a little better than the first, and the 5 to 10 second pausing between lines were minimized. Still, theres no plot. Saying out loud a few times there's human hunting mermen is not actually plot. This show doesnt know the exposition rule "SHOW DONT TELL".
Episode summary: Guy1 car bumping to guy2. Guy 1 is angry. Guy 1 flirts with guy3 and drives him to town. Guy2 is on the barbershop saying he had a haircut but his hair is exactly the same when he bumped with guy1. Guy 3 met guy 2 at the shop. Guy 1 is jealous.. THats it! Seriously, what else happened today?
thai BLs are killing it now. I appreciate the effort they are doing to bring us a variety of stories without losing the essence of what we love as BL fans. My Magic Prophecy Khemjira and this series I'm the Most Beautiful Count are all standout!
I love this series' costumes and the cinematography and color grading. I specially specially love all their sets - the houses look amazing down to the smallest details. It looks like they really spent their budget well.
