im glad they gave the boys a bigger house this season because in the first season i was so concerned about their cramped bedrooms. they looked really uncomfortable and stuffy 😂 and probably because some of these participants already watched the first season so they knew what to expect from the show, but they seem far less awkward even on the first meeting compared to the first season. so far so good. im rooting for Junsung and his crush for Sungho. he's so adorable whenever he gushes over Sungho.
this is a solid 8/10 for me right now. i like the actors and i think they have nice chemistry (including Dennis).
the premise is promising but just like many other KBLs, they don't have enough budget to execute the idea to its fullest potential. i feel like if they're given the proper budget so they could extend their runtime at least 30mins per episode, they'd be able to explain so many questions and confusions i have about the plot. but eitherway, i did enjoy this one a lot. im glad i didn't fall into the negative reviews and decided to give it a try anyway. i think this would be a better watch if you binged it in one go, kinda like a movie.

i should've waited for it to finish airing but my curiosity made me binge watch all 4 episodes in one day 😂 now im vibrating in my seat, impatiently waiting for the next episodes aaaa. this is my favorite 2023 kbl so far, i gotta say.
seems like im that rare person who actually enjoyed the first episode and found it a good start. their acting have improved alot since Enchanté, especially Book. he hard carried this episode imo. he pulls off the annoying, obnoxious, talkative character really well. it seems to me comedy genre like this suits him (and Force) better. that was an interesting first episode. definitely gonna tune in to the next episode.
they spent 40minutes out of a 50minute long episode just... crying. honestly the whole conflict with the father was unnecessary. it felt so out of sudden, forced and rushed. it would've worked better had they introduced the father earlier in the story or spent a scene or two showing Eiw's struggle with his father's smoking habit or something. i also don't like the way they forced Eiw to forgive his father. did they have valid points? sure. but they should've given Eiw his time and space first. let him forgive his father at his own pace. Eiw has been living fine without his father all this time. so what's the point of guilt tripping Eiw into keeping a good relationship with his father now?

i started watching it for NetJames, expecting to skim through the het part and only watching NetJames scenes, but i turned out really liking the whole thing. the first two episodes are pretty strong imo, so that's really good. already looking forward to the next episodes.
