the first 2 or 3 episodes were solid and promising. but afterwards it just gets more and more meh unfortunately and never picks itself back up. the four main actors hard carried the show though so i was able to pull through until the end for them. overall it's an alright watch.
this series is pretty much a feel good watch. there's nothing much to the plot or any extravagant drama. but the cuteness is totally cutenessing. i usually would lose interest and drop series if the plot isn't exciting enough to keep me hooked. but this time i actually managed to finish the series for the pure wholesome relationships and friendships. a solid 7/10 for that imo.
but if you were to jump into this expecting unique plot and top notch script... you'd definitely be disappointed. it's at most a 5/10 if we're being strict.
Is it just me or all the participants in this season seem quite young compared to the previous seasons? But I feel like I'd be mind blown next episode when the youthful looking ones are revealed to be in the mid 30s or something 😂
Idk how many times I yawned watching this. The only reason I pulled through is because their acting is good and they have good chemistry, so it wasn't too much of a struggle to finish. Just very boring. The actors themselves have potentials.

i totally agree about the awkward friends. it seems that they focused more on couple workshops and they overlooked the fact that friends need that chemistry workshop too.
the Japanese just flew over my head because it didn't have eng sub so i had no clue what the words meant, hence i could just tune it out of the scene and pretend it's random noises from Zoey's laptop 😆
i can't handle the english conversation 😂 it's too stiff, making me cringe. but other than that, this turned out better than i expected. i had my thumb hovering over the skip/fast-forward button in case the cringe was too much for me to handle, but surprisingly i survived without hitting the button. im not fully sold yet, but i definitely would tune in next week.

ah i see. yeah that's my guess/impression after watching the finale too. especially because the little clip at the end mentions only Junseong/Seongho after the show. none of the three involved (MS, HJin, Hjoon) seem invested in the relationship the way the JS/SH/SW did so i wouldn't be surprised if MS/HJin didn't actually continue the relationship after the show.
