One of the Best Dramas of 2023
STORYThere were many twists and turns in the drama. The plot was never boring. Whoever did the CGI needs a raise.
CASTING
Every cast member fit their role perfectly. Sometimes actors/actresses play a role and their character role sticks. This was not the case.
MUSIC
I put it on my Spotify playlist.
REWATCH VALUE
I gave the rewatch value a 9 because I don’t think I want to cry again. (or stay up till 3 in the morning)
Overall, this drama should go up there with Ashes of Love and Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms.

I don’t usually watch Japanese dramas so me giving the story 5 stars is saying something. It follows the type plot line: main character is happy, people die for the main character to have character development, main character matured to take in the world.STORY:
Great! No complaints
ACTING:
It was amazing. Some of the characters had very different personalities from the real world and the game world. To be able to mix those personalities into one person without it feeling forced is a feat all in its own.
MUSIC:
Nothing memorable
REWATCH:
Yes I would definitely watch this again! They need to hurry up and make a season 2.

Weekend Drama
If you're looking for a drama to binge over the weekend this is the drama for you. It's lighthearted and fun. It has a splash of feels here and there but nothing to major.STORY
What I like about this drama is that not ALL the characters are dumb and they acknowledge their mistakes. You can see the character development and flaws within each character. I wanted a stronger ending but it was still good.
ACTING/CAST
I've seen a couple of the characters in other dramas before. In some dramas you can still see remnants of their roles in other dramas. This drama is NOT like that. Their acting is great.
MUSIC
I wasn't too impressed. I heard the opening song and skipped over it. Don't waste your time with that.

I WANT MORE!!!
I swear the only bad thing about this drama was how short it was. I LOVED THIS!!! As soon as I was done I looked up the recommendations.STORY:
I don't normally watch BL dramas so I can't say if it's cliché or not. I can say that I was in my feelings from start to finish! I couldn't decide which character was right and which one was wrong so I kept yelling at both of them. (Don't judge me.)
ACTING/CAST:
Casting was great. It's kind of hard to explain but it seemed like their faces were their personalities. They didn't have to say anything you could just tell.
MUSIC:
Not memorable

Haven't Seen the Original.
I have never watched a Chinese Ghost Story. I've seen reviews from people who compare the two. If you want to read a comparison then sorry this is not the review. With this in mind let's get started.STORY:
I wasn't expecting much due to the cliché sounding title but after watching the intro I WAS HOOKED. The story was beautiful! I didn't cry but I did have mini rants here and there. I like how you were able to see the negative and positive attributes within each character. Usually when I was movies like this they hype up the negative traits or they hype the positive traits. I like how these characters had a balance. The characters seemed more relatable and human.
CAST AND ACTING:
I didn't know any of the actors/actresses in this movie but they had a nice chemistry. Nothing seemed forced.
MUSIC:
In my opinion, music is a pass or fail. Pass means I remember the songs. Fail meaning they will never be stored in my long term memory. With that being said, the music FAILED!
REWATCH VALUE:
I see myself watching it again but it wouldn't be often. This is movie is great but if you watch it a lot it'll get stale and boring.

Started Off Well....
STORY:The story was great at first but it went downhill near the end. I don't know if the writing became lazy or they just ran out of ideas. Either way, I was not satisfied even if the ending was happy. The subplots play a big part in the main plot so I guess it could make up for the bad ending.
ACTING:
Excellent chemistry. You will in love with the support characters as well as the main characters. The main male lead will make you cringe at first but after a few episodes he'll grow on you.
MUSIC:
Not very memorable. Seriously, don't waste your time listening to the intro.

It's...….Okay.
STORY:So far I like this drama. I've cried. I've ranted. I even stopped watching it for a day because I had conflicting emotions. However, I always find myself saying "this whole thing could have been avoided." The plot has a few twists and turns but in the end "this whole thing could've been avoided." I think if the plot had a no other option scenario then it would've been a tad bit more interesting and maybe I would've ranted more. I will say that I didn't get attached to all of the characters. The supporting cast didn't really "support" very well.
ACTING:
LOVE the acting. Sometimes when you see an actor in a drama they're good but when you see them in another drama they pretty much play the same character and it turns out bad. This was not the case! Everyone probably knows Shawn Dou from Princess Agents but when you watch this drama you don't see that character. When he plays Han De Rang it feels completely different and refreshing. The same thing goes for Tiffany Tang. Honestly, I would love to see them in more dramas together. They have great chemistry.
MUSIC:
Terrible next!
Overall it's okay thus far. I doubt I'd ever watch it again though.

Nice Try....
When I read the synopsis I was genuinely intrigued and had high hopes for this drama. Unfortunately, I was scrolling through some comments and I accidently read the ending. After I read it I dropped it. The acting was great but the dialogue was repetitive and unrealistic. The music was good, one of the few dramas where I don't skip the opening or ending. If someone were to finish it I highly doubt they'd re-watch it. They tried. They failed and to whoever spoiled it for me I hope your next drama has a terrible ending!Was this review helpful to you?
Great Intro into the BL Genre
If anyone ever tells you they don't like BL have them watch this; it will change their mind. It changed my mind, and my friend's and my cousin's.Overall I liked the plotline. It had a lot of feels but I didn't cry. It would've been nice to get a little more out of the ending but other than that it was great. I don't usually watch K-dramas (usually watch Chinese) so I can't say much about the actors. They did a good job though. I didn't get annoyed with them if that makes sense. So far, I've rewatched it 3 times. It's likely that that number will go up.
