i'm really pissed off about the repeated memory loss because it was too illogical and kind of ruined it. anyway, this drama is still a masterpiece.

episode 14 was so memorable, especially the scene where jang hyeon had a race with the qing princess to save gil chae. that was such a breathtaking and unforgettable moment.

despite some minor flaws, this drama is incredibly enjoyable and keeps you engaged right up to the very end. also the osts are so good! <3

yes it is! truly an all-rounder idol. i wish he would also consider acting too, as i can see him fitting a cute character in a drama. :3

the good bad mother is the GOAT

this is a valid take because i also felt the same way; the first half was so boring that i almost dropped it. starting from episode 8, the story has become better and more interesting. that said, i still find it somewhat overrated, perhaps because i’m watching it now, ten years after it originally aired. somehow, the osts are undeniably good.

historical genre is her thing.

the romance was poorly executed, leading to many awkward and childish moments. the plot was dull and predictable and kinda pissed of jung hae-in's performance 'cause he was too bland, despite knowing he's a talented actor from his previous work. the side characters, especially the S.E.S ahjummas, were the ones who really carried the show.

knetz are acting weird again and targeting her for being the great granddaughter of pro japanese imperialist doctor. 😨

now i regret hitting the play button; the agony of watching a good ongoing drama is the real curse.

promising first 2 episodes! now my weekend will be fun again. i just hope it doesn't go downhill in the remaining episodes.

despite ong seongwu's sneakiness, his entrance made me scream because he is so gorgeous! also i can really see his resemblance to kim muyeol, like a younger version of him.

i'm completely enchanted by yang sejong's smile. :)))
