I don’t see him calculating; he told her in previous episodes that he believes love could grow in the process, and he is very sincere. I don’t see any manipulation; he is very straightforward. Also, he asked her to marry him, not just arranged it, and she agreed, and only after the agreement were all those gifts sent. She had a choice, and she chose to marry him to use him in her revenge schemes.

It was a dirty move, very much in her father’s style.

There's no need to change her purpose; OK, break with ML. I understand your point of view, and it makes sense. But why use Li? Why agree to marry him literally the next day? It was dirty.

I’m so angry at FL. Shen Rui hints to her that it’s not the time to attack her father bc the Emperor protects him, and she was so blind and stupid, and broke with him, and the next day accepted Li guy’s proposal purely to use him. I’m not a fan of Li Cong Xin, but he doesn’t deserve to be treated like this. He hasn't done anything wrong except pursuing her and being slightly annoying. He is truly in love with her, and she uses him; she is really her father's daughter.

I hope all of these were really intentional. Bc 16-17 episodes are completely normal again.

I hope they're just messing with us and will show what happened on the cliff and during those two weeks in their memories.

Obsessed with this drama, but ep15 is probably the weakest so far. It looks more like a trailer; I hope they will return to that fisherman village again in their memories because they robbed us! I need to know what they did there!!!

It’s not just appearance; it’s how she looks next to other girls. Some of them look like models; what's the point of placing girls like this around? If the FL is “one of many,” she should be surrounded by girls who look the same, as for me. She doesn’t need to be the most beautiful, but I personally don’t like it when the FL is bleaker than others.

Respectfully, I don’t see this actress as an ML actress. I know people adore her and will disagree. She looks too ordinary for my taste; I’m sure that's why she was chosen for this role, and there's nothing wrong with it; it's only my perspective.

I’m probably alone, but this drama is probably not for me. FL actress is probably a great actress, but I couldn't convince myself to like her :( So I dropped this drama, unfortunately :(

Can we talk about how amazing Xu Kai is?! I was skeptical at first (I hadn't seen him before), but I wasn't familiar with your game, sir! wow! That intensity in every scene.

I especially love how funny the ML is in episode 12 in her shop. He made such faces when Li guy arrived :)
