This was so nice but it would've been better if something was done against the ML's father. I love the ML's mother from the start. She did not conclude when FL beat up the half sister and she wasn't manipulative or whatever. I also like the friends of the ML and FL, and even the potential rival has good attitude. Also, it would have been nice if they showed the 3 of them - father, mother and son - to be together.

Thank you! I've been trying to find other vertical dramas by this Zhuo Hang that I posted. So many actors still have no MDL or Chinesemov pages.

I think SML's blood got contaminated or poisoned after the fire happened (due to the dangerous chemicals) and would constantly need blood transfusion to stabilize him. ML was used by the SML's mother as a blood bank by blackmailing him and taking her sister as hostage (per the scene where ML wanted his sister to come with him abroad but SML's mother insisted ML's sister stay with her) so he would always abide by her commands.

But yes, the kisses were steamy and that shoulder bite was perfect. 😁

The costume and the make up done for the mermaids and mermen on this was exquisite. I always complain that vertical dramas don't have budgets for wardrobe because either they change between 2-3 clothes only or not at all, but man, this one takes the cake. Each merman/mermaid have unique costume that doesn't look shabby at all. Would love to have this kind of trope more.
