Look at that link, that's the really good example for actor cover image. The actor is getting old or current photo, not the photo of 10 years ago. Not crop on the head, the actor is looking straight forward to the camera.

First Link = the photo is just like more than 10 years ago, and it's crop on the head.
Second Link = he doesn't look straight forward and crop on the head too, also the photo is like more than 10 years ago.
Third Link = Crop on the head too.. 10 years ago..
Fourth Link = All crop on the head.. 10 years ago.
Fifth Link = This is better, the photo is 2 years ago, but the resolution is small.
