You know, i really like this thing when dramas have 12 episodes, cuz most of the time its just dragging the plot when we have 16 or maybe 20 episodes, but in this case i feel like they had enough material to have 16 episodes.
I really loved the drama, but i feel like many things got resolved way too fast then it should. Did her her father go to prison? I really cant remember. Her brother also just disappeared, cuz we was not relevant for the plot anymore. And the second couple was robbed, they also needed more time together....AND I STILL CANT BELIEVE THEY GAVE US A FISH KISS.
Over all its a an amazing drama with amazing acting, specially the FL!
I remember saying when the drama was in its half that the character of ML didnt add nothing to the plot and with the final episode i stand with the same opinion, but now i can finally have a reason.
WAY TOO MANY CHARACTERS
I really thought in the beginning that the psychiatrist would be a part of the evil guys but when i knew she wasn't she was just a background character marked as second female lead that honestly didn't add much to the drama. Same with the probation officer he also didn't add much too the plot and i believe his character wasn't necessary The real leads in my opinion are the children that grew up to take revenge. (RINGO MY LOVE, my boy deserved better). I think writers tried to make ML a moral compass but since they had too many people involved in taking down the evil organization they didn't focus on him and by the second half of the drama things were just dragging and the plot was going downhill. If they had less characters and focused more on his character could be more helpful, cuz lets be honest the team formed by the smart people could have made the same or maybe more without him always in their legs. If they really needed a lawyer to the plot you could just make one of the smart kids one...that would be a easier idea.
Another thing was the fourth wall, in the beginning it was great but if you introduce this you have to follow with this scenes until the end, it makes no sense for in early episodes having many breaks of the fourth wall and by the end there none....CONSISTENCY IN NEEDED WRITERS .

They completely forgot the sister during the entire drama and suddenly SURPRISE here she is with bombastic news. Both leads looked cute together and honestly the are the ones that keep you interested. In my opinion there was way 2 many over the top moments, This girl really ripped her expensive dress with a knife just to kick an asshole.....THAT WAS NOT NECESSARY AT ALL. I also think if maybe the budget was little higher it would be better, i felt it looked to cheap compared of both main leads previous jobs. You could even see the microphone in some scenes on the top of your screen...

Villain's delusion is a type of delusion out of this world. My boy why would you think that after the bloodbath you caused in every place that you put your feet into Yu Ru would be with you ? Even if you managed to eliminate the Gu family and forced Yu Ru to marry you i could only imagine 2 scenarios:
1st - In the first chance Yu Ru got she would kill you like her bestie killed her rapist 2nd- She would kill herself in front of you

Its 5 A.M and i'm so TIRED. I started watching this thinking it was going to be a cute rom com but oh wow i was so wrong, i NEVER seen a drama make this dark turn so fast. I was expecting some suffering in the second part of the drama but i just finished episode 15 and i'm here asking myself what more can happen to this poor people. Honestly i think i didnt notice a few details because i was dozing off and i will need to rewatch some scenes but can someone tell me if they showed the mother falling of the cliff like the concubine said? I think they added to the plot but didnt notice this scene, did i skip the scene ?
So the husband cheated on his wife,YJ discoverd blackmailed him and made him cheat again on his wife with her ? And the wife has to comfort his cheating ass?
The comment i'm going to make is no justification for FL behavior, she has extremely toxic tendencies and i'm not here to justify them, but i feel that she is getting an extremely unnecessary amount of hate.
With only eleven episodes we know that she lost her biological family and she was adopted by a rich family. This family imposed on her a extremely rigorous lifestyle and her mother often makes her ultimatums using the fact that she is not her biological child to make her feel bad. I've seen so many people hating on her and asking how a grown ass adult cant cut free from her mother, but are we forgetting that not even the BIOLOGICAL SON cant confront his mother but you are expecting that the child that was guilt tripped all her life to cut her family that adopted her from her life? How exactly is she supposed to do that, when the mother has all of the family on a tight leash ?
Zhao Lu Si proves herself to me why she is my favorite actress. Her comedic timing is great and her emotional range always makes me cry. She is able to have chemistry to every single partner she has.
And OMG this was a breakthrough role for Chen Zhe Yuan, i've seen some of his dramas in the past but omg i was not expecting for him to be so good with his eyes expressions...those teary eyes got me EVERY SINGLE TIME!
I think it was my fisrt time seeing a drama with Victor and he did not disappoint, i will for sure see more of his projects. The brother and sister chemistry was over the roof and i was always laughing with them.
I waited for the end of the drama so i could binge watch and it was so worth it
