Sloppy, poorly made k-drama.

This K-drama just... didn’t hit the mark for me.

The cast was alright, I guess. It was my first time seeing Kim Jung Hyun on screen, so I’ll hold off on commenting about it—especially since I didn’t enjoy the show overall. As for Im Soo Hyang, even though she’s been getting some flak for her acting here, I actually thought she’d improved since ID: Gangnam Beauty. She wasn’t AMAZING, of course, but at least she seemed a bit more expressive this time.

The plot, though, was a mess. It felt totally out of sync, like a song with no rhythm. The writers just threw a bunch of random stuff in without really tying it together. So many scenes didn’t even matter for the story at all. Some of them didn't even make any sense. With only the important parts left, this kdrama could’ve been wrapped up in 10 episodes or less.

And the scenes felt... off. Weird, I don't know how to explain. All the moments felt forced, like they were trying way too hard to make it funny or sad, but nothing landed naturally. At times, it felt more like a kids’ show than a kdrama.

The production didn’t help either. The scenes with the fake background were awful, the lighting was all wrong, and we could almost see the green screen behind the actors. In fact, you actually CAN see blurry edges around the actors. I couldn't get immersed in the show because of the sloppy bg, the poor production made it really hard to get into the story.

And honestly, parts of the plot gave me the feel that I was watching a cheap Doom At Your Service knockoff. If you’ve seen both of these kdramas, you might get what I mean. But in DAYS, even though the "Doom" had his struggles understanding his own feelings, and had some hard times with the female lead, the way it was presented still makes you root for them. I spent the whole show cheering for Dong Kyung and Doom. But here, Kokdu went from plain rude to overly pushy with the lead, OUT OF NOWHERE. Just, "I woke up today feeling like bothering the FL", and then "guess what? Screw that I'm just gonna love her, whatever lol", and back to "no, I changed my mind, I hate her now again". I just couldn’t connect or cheer for this couple at all. ALSO, the FL is so damn stupid. Oh gosh idk what was worse, the rude ML or the dumb FL. Maybe the combination.

The soundtrack was okay—not amazing, but not terrible either.

Overall, I’d say it’s a skip. Not really worth the time. At all.
