New poster & Trailer The poster reflects the characters in this drama, which’s as a couple who pretend #ZhaoLusi…
This truly looks so good! I am especially amazed and eager to see Zhao Lusi as Xu Yan. She is the one I started watching Chinese Dramas for. This character is different from the characters she had played so far and it made me emotional 😂😭

Title Reborn Rich Spoiler
I've watched 3 episodes but wanted to confirm if it is a happy ending or not (I was in need for some heavy but…
I watched the drama before reading the novel and the webtoon. And yes, I as well would have loved the drama if it followed the novel's story, especially the ending. The drama is okay. A novel and webtoon can be stretched to numerous episodes but a drama has its limitations which is why there were twits and turns happening every moment of every episode. I continued watching it for the purpose of entertainment but the ending, it left me utterly disappointed.

Somehow there are two unrelated people who look exactly alike, no proper explanation about the ending. You should read the webtoon or the novel if you like this kinda story. And now that a Thai remake is in progress, I wish it follows the novel and not this drama.

I just read an article comparing the webtoon and the drama and now I am utterly disappointed that it didn't end…
I liked all the episodes except for the last one, the ending to me didn't exactly make sense because how could no one ever spot the similarities between HY and DJ? They look exactly the same. The ending felt unfinished.

Btw, from where did you read the novel? I could not find the novel.

Dew could play the ML in this. The moment I got to know about this Thai version, I could clearly imagine Dew playing a young, playful, smart and cunning ML who can look a lot older with slick back hair and a pair of glasses. I feel he has that aristocratic look required for this role.

True, they failed the first time, so the again did the ritual in 1959.
The ritual with Mokdan failed because she wasn't second born child. The detective mentioned it in the previous episode. And the shot of grandpa turning evil, I believe it was the second time the sacrifice was happening, that it with a different girl who turned into an evil spirit.

Title Revenant Spoiler
It's clear that the evil spirit and Mokdan are two different people. What if, Mokdan was the first girl to be selected for the sacrifice but that did not work for some reason. Didn't the detective say in previous episode that Mokdan wasn't the second born? And for the ritual they needed a second born child!

So the ritual failed, and they had to find another girl for the sacrifice which means they could have waited for another year to do the ritual given the necessary dates and conditions for it to be successful.

And the evil spirit deliberately showed Mokdan to the people she possessed so that they would believe that her name was Mokdan and won't be able to get rid of her as they got her name wrong!

I just read an article comparing the webtoon and the drama and now I am utterly disappointed that it didn't end the way the webtoon/novel does. And this is why I dropped Reborn Rich. If this Thai version ends the way the webtoon/novel did, only then I would watch it!

Title Revenant Spoiler
I'm so confused what does the evil spirit want? Sometimes theyre helping the investigation - leading SY and HS…
1. I don't think that the spirit is helping them find all those objects. There is a mystery around this whole thing as Prof. Gu & HS's mom failed to get rid of the evil spirit even after they hid those objects and did that ritual. Maybe the evil spirit actually needs those things for possession or control over something? Like it was the hair accessory, one of the 5 objects that caused San Young to be possessed. Or perhaps, the spirit wants to get rid of all that stuff, burn them like she burned that book when the grandma was killed.

2. It isn't the desire of the possessed alone. The shaman said that the evil spirit will fulfill her desires along with that of the possessed and that their fortune will come at a cost. Now, the question is that what is that the evil spirit actually desires and what is the cost of it.

3. Killing the detective seems to be like a preventive measure. The detective found something that the evil spirit wants to hide and the only way to make sure that the detective doesn't say anything about it is to kill him and destroy the proof.

So, Haesang's mom was able to get rid of the ghost, but Sanyoung's dad summoned it again?
I don't think she was able to get rid of the spirit, but FL's dad got it transferred to himself somehow.

I have a feeling that Hae Sang will die.
I don't want him to die! But he was the one who the spirit was supposed to possess originally and it was his family who created that spirit so it seems fitting that he would be the one to end this. I hope he survives!

1. Oh, definitely! Mi Sook know most of it if not everything!

2. Oh, okay. But I don't think that Fl's dad and dad's brother are the killers. The brother though must have done something, some crime that could get him arrested but not those murders.

3. Oh, yeah! Mi Sook and the murderer are definitely close, could be romantically close or just be partners in crime. But yeah, close enough for Mi Sook to know all the details even when she is not the killer.

5. Yeah, definitely agree with you about Mi Sook. She is pure crazy, manipulative, bitchy types crazy.

Most of this comment is going to be spoilers and speculations.

1. The victim was tied up and her body left at a spot where people would find her easily. The murderer likes the power and control and also doesn't want to hide the crime, probably make a statement out of it.

2. This creepy spectacle guy is surely creepy and a potential criminal but now it looks like he wasn't the one to kill that woman. Calling ML, saying that he found the dead body pretty much puts him on the suspect list considering he just attacked another girl (FL's mom), he had the victim's ring which FL's Dad knows about. So yeah, I don't think he would take that kind of risk.

3. HOLY SHIT!! THE AUNT DIED TOO!!! Dude, I wasn't expecting that! So the police didn't come for the first victim but the aunt, who was the second victim!

4. Now it makes me question again that can the two leads actually save the victims or just delay the killings for a few days? And as per Mi Sook's words, you may think you are correcting things but you end up being caught in the wheel of fate. It's all about the direction you go. So far, ML and FL are only looking into the 3 suspects and not anybody else which makes me believe firmly that it is neither of those 3 and someone who they could never doubt.

But, who was she talking to about all this in the beginning of the episode? The murderer maybe. And we later get to know that, nope, it wasn't the murderer. It was FL's dad and he was being threatened and blackmailed on basis on whatever Yu Sub did! This is what Mi Sook is, playing with people using their vulnerabilities.

5. Okay, it is just weird but...!! Have you seen the movie "The Adam Project", what if it is Mi Sook who is doing the time travelling, like she is killing people who would be

6. Those little facial moments reactions between Mi Sook and the short haired bully girl whose name I cannot remember. There is something going between these two! And that "You are making it obvious." They know something or just everything!

7. Aaawwww!! The hug that the two shared, they needed the comfort after all that happened.

8. And aaaawwwww!! ML's dad is cute too! Imagine if ML dad had like a crush on FL's mom. It would be hilarious! Especially with the presence of ML and FL there!

9. Good lord!! So FL's took the blame on himself to protect his brother! He is really a miserable and pitiful person. And is it the dad or dad's brother at the end??

10. Could these killings be a cult thing? Like there seems to be no particular mode of murders and the common thing being the red string to tie the victim's hands and the fact that they are women?

Ok - ep7 done - let's do criminal profiling!******************************0. Killer is a man. We are looking for…
0. It could be a man or a woman, or even both. I am thinking that two people are involved in this and the fake writer is one of them. If she didn't commit the murders, she must have witnessed them.

1. How does Fl's mom and grandmother fall under this category - "someone who can shrewdly take away your family from you"?

2. What I think about the murderer's personality is that the person is -

a) a very normal looking person who is nice and kind and sweet to whoever they interact with. Someone who you would never suspect of being a murderer.

b) isn't wary of women but definitely looks down upon them, and doesn't approve of them being able to read/being educated. Someone who wants women to be just housewives and take care of families and not follow their dreams. This can be seen with the second victim, FL's aunt who didn't want to get married and settle down but do something on her own.

c) certainly weak which is why they need to tie up the victims. It could be that the victims are made unconscious first, tied up and then killed. Their weakness makes them feel inferior (in case of a man) and they want to assert power, control and dominance over the women.

3. Amnesia? Nah! I don't think so because FL's mom was definitely murdered by this killer. It could be that the murderer changed it's way of killing like in Tunnel kdrama. So over these years, murders were happening but not in the way and in the 1987 village. Also, fake writer's brother was caught and jailed so for all the other murders, nobody made a connection with the 3 that happened in that village.

A serial killer will alter and refine his MO to accommodate new circumstances or to incorporate new skills and information. So maybe the method has changed but the killer is definitely active. And it is why all of Mi Sook's novels are about murderers, serial killers.

4. That fake writer's brother is just as weird, creepy and suspicious as his sister. All that he told ML about the murders was a lie. He said he did nothing but he kidnapped FL and would have assaulted her had ML didn't come on time. He said he wasn't in the village when the first victim died in og timeline but he was there, kicking his sister. And in latest episode he tried assaulting FL's aunt. So I do not trust a single word coming out of this guy's mouth. But he isn't the killer, in fact, he is the scapegoat. A truly creepy and suspicious person arrested for someone else's crimes.

5. The relationship between Mi Sook and the murderer seems too close. Close enough for Mi Sook to put the blame on her brother, close enough for the murderer to explain to Mi Sook how they chose the victims, how they killed, and how they managed to keep themselves safe.

6. I believe the killer was active, changed their method of killing but active. Something like in the kdrama Tunnel.

7. The car is a mystery itself. Either the killer was using it or perhaps it's just a plot armor thing which is required so that the ML is able to save himself from dying.

8. There is definitely something between the fake writer and the short haired bully. I had mentioned this in one of my previous comments over an episode but I truly believe that there are romantic feelings between those two.

I think that the real murderer would turn out to be someone who no one ever suspected! Like someone who everybody knows but nobody could ever doubt. And nah! I don't think it's the uncle either.

Remember the victim was talking to someone asking how did they know about her or something after she was being followed. Could it be that she was talking to Yu Sub? And the man she met at the teahouse was also him. We know that the victim committed some crime but do we know what she did? Please let me know in case I missed it.

It could be that the uncle was keeping an eye on the victim, just being sure that she is there or whatever but killing her, I don't think so. It has become a pattern of sorts that every one is suspicious but I feel that the real murderer is someone who nobody ever suspected.

Also, I believe that because of everything that happened, FL's dad and uncle suffered a lot, especially the dad. So maybe, FL coming back to the past wasn't just to make her mother happy and make sure she is alive by capturing the real culprit but also understand dad's side of story. That if he didn't show it, it didn't mean that he wasn't hurting. And an unhappy person can never make others happy, hence the unhappy mom and FL.

Ah, like I thought, only the day of the murder changed, it didn't mean that the 1st victim was safe. Which makes me question again, will ML & FL actually be able to save the victims or just delay the murders for some time.

Title My Perfect Stranger Spoiler
Oh, this guy, FL's dad's friend and mom's current boyfriend seems like a total creep. Almost all the main characters in the show except the ML, FL, and FL's parents, appear to be creepy and suspicious.

#1 - Just because FL's dad had that blue cap, ML shouldn't conclude that it was the dad who he saw running away in previous episode. It's just a blue cap, there could be others who have it.

#2 - So it's kinda established that Mi Sook either is the murderer or knows him/her and is close with them. The way her brother treats her, it makes me think that Mi Sook and the murderer planned to put the brother in jail from the crimes they committed.

And is ML really stupid or what? Why does he keeps talking about the future like that in front of just anybody? Like at 15:45 when he is holding down Mi Sook's brother! I mean even if the killer didn't know at first, he sure is advertising it to people by doing stuff like that!

#3 - Aawwww!! The FL is so set on not letting her parents get together! She thinks her father was the one who could not make her mother happy but I think there is a different story about that. The dad, I don't think is as bad as the FL thinks he is. He was wrongfully accused, his leg got badly injured and I feel he must know something about the real killer or perhaps something related to the killer that made him the way he was in 2021.

It's like when you know the truth but there's no proof of it and it so hard to justify it that no one believes it to be the truth.

#4 - Holy shit! The date of the first murder changed!! That makes me think that can they really save those who died? And I ain't completely sure about FL's uncle. He could be the killer but then he could not be.

My thoughts after watching Episode #5 -

Now that FL knows about the murders I wonder why she doesn't think that maybe, just maybe her mother didn't commit suicide but was murdered. And we know that FL's mom can't swim, so it was easy for the murderer to just push the mom in the river and let her die.

I truly think that FL's mom was murdered. That matchbox and that note inside it makes me believe that it was a murder.

1 - I am glad that the leads are talking! Finally! Glad that ML told FL about the possibility of her mother's death being a murder!

2 - I don't believe that FL's dad sent that flower and the note asking the mom to come meet him at the teahouse! Dude! It feels like the murderer could be this other guy, the one who wears glasses. Not the dad, and not the one who was jailed (the fake author's brother), it's the third suspect.

3 - And oh! This other girl, the one who pushed FL's mom in the river, the one whom FL thought is Mi Sook, the one who made other girls sniff super glue, the one whom ML saved from falling down the cliff in the first episode, the girl with whom Mi Sook had an eye contact with 39:06, this girl has been giving the bad vibes since the moment it was revealed that she made her other friends get high. Kim Hae Kyung.

Could it be that these two liked each other in a romantic way and this girl is the true murderer and that is why Mi Sook got easy access to the murderer's records?

4 - I don't think that the dad is the murderer. A suspect, yes. Perhaps he knows something which is why he had become an alcoholic, and looked so utterly depressed. Maybe he was being framed or maybe it's his brother!!
