I liked the story at the beginning but felt it flopped half way and only continued watching because I like ZLH. I commend it for cinematography and production values though. No other cdrama has come close in a while.

Yeah. They did a really good job setting up the snow scenes though. I felt cold with them even knowing they were filming in the heat.

In the novel, it was explained that she learned that technique of mixing blood with medicine can help cure illness. So she thought that was what XW needed when he had an episode in the cave. He later laughed at her for stupidly thinking that was true. The drama just exaggerated that scene and made him seem like some kind of vampire gege lol.
