super underrated, unique storyline, and amazing cast
the plot (i wont reveal much) is just so interesting with many twists and turns despite the short amount of episodes + minutes. however, the unique storyline and amazing acting from the wonderful cast really pulls the whole story together. i was honestly shocked to see not that many ratings- all the visuals from the actors in this drama is just woooooheee. i am def planning on rewatching soon, i love the ml and fl's chemistry.Was this review helpful to you?
New Cast, New Fun Times
Overall, watch this season for the fun new and old cast members, cool guests, engagement with Yao PD (which is the funniest), but in terms of themes, don't expect them to be extremely special. (my opinion)Story: Not going to lie, I would say the themes of each episode aren't as unique or as funny as the previous 3 seasons, but they were still funny and engaging. If the previous 3 seasons had themes that were 10/10, I would say this season's themes of each episode were only 7/10.
Cast: Oh boy do I love the new cast; yes i definitely miss some of the old members (yuqi, guo qilin), but I do love Bailu and Zhou shen here, they add lots of laughter to each episode. I also love how KUN is talking more in each episode; Li Chen, Baby, Zheng Kai, Sha Yi are still as funny as usual.
Music: KUN released his new song in this season, which is why I rated this section so high :)
Rewatch Value: Again, due to the lacking themes, I would say the rewatch value is really only 7.5/10.

amazing season
WOW I really love this season! Every cast member is just perfect, I love the interactions with KUN, Yuqi, and ofc, Lucas. The cast is just perfect, they have a way of making the atmosphere super light and funny, but also know when to get serious for the important lessons. Honestly, every episode made me hooked to my screen; the themes of each episode were also really nice. I may be biased, but I really like how the directors gave KUN so many "villain" or special roles, and screen time. However, even if you're not a fan of KUN, this season is still very fun and engaging. Even Guo qilin comes back for one episode!Was this review helpful to you?
Mindblowing, so many small details that make the story amazing overall
This drama is definitely one of my favorite modern-day dramas. The acting from each and every cast member, even down to a small side character, is just immaculate. There are scenes that genuinely make me frightened or scared, due to the acting of the cast. I won't spoil much, since the story is mostly mystery + discovering who the bomber is (and why), so definitely try this out for yourself. One of the main things i love the most about this drama, is the way that they allow you to FULLY understand EACH and EVERY character on the bus. Their backstories, their motives, and of course, their sweetness. Overall, 10/10. This drama will make you fall in love with all the different characters and actors for sure!Was this review helpful to you?
in love with this season
WOW my heart is so full after watching this season. the cast members are just so loveable; the couples that worked out in the end are just MADE for each other.Honestly, I started watching this because of the love observers; I'm a big fan of Zhu Zhengting, and I think Dai Yan Ni is just absolutely stunning. However, after watching S1, I just knew I had to continue and watch this season. This season, unlike the last, definitely has a lot more drama, especially with the cast member "Leng leng". Due to the situation of there being only 3 guys and 4 girls, the "seventh wheel" definitely caused some drama at times. By drama, I mean she would break people's hearts, cause unnecessary drama between couples, be outright rude, etc. However, because of all the drama she caused, it showed growth for all the couples that worked out in the end.
All the sweet little moments, like sharing the same straw, remembering little details about someone, etc. made this just so cute. Of course, the love observers made this 1000x more enjoyable to watch; otherwise at times, I probably would've stopped watching because of Leng Leng's annoying actions. I love how the directors gave ZZT so much screentime, and often "cued" him with the other hosts to do fun little activities. Of course, the betting in this season was also very funny.
Overall, 10/10, give it a watch! There are so many "plot twists"; people you think are annoying turn out to be very sweet; people you think are very quiet can turn out to be..... anyways! Give it a try!

Yet another amazing season
The cast members have changed a lot from S6, to S7, and now to S8. I'm not complaining though; I really do love the adding of KUN, Sha yi, and Guo Qilin. Shayi and Guoqilin are just so entertaining and funny, but also cute; KUN is also super cute and really suits this show.I love how the directors invited Justin (huang minghao) to be a guest in the first two episodes, to allow Kun to get adjusted to the show first. This season was so hilarious; every episode is worth rewatching.
My only comment was that I wished Yuqi and Lucas could've been here, as I'm sure the interactions with Sha Die (Sha yi LOL) would've been funny. Still a 10/10 season, love it!

Heartwarming + Emotional
Honestly, I started watching this because of the love observers; I'm a big fan of ZZT and CX. However, after watching this, I began to "fall in love" ;) with all of the love observers, and of course the cast. This is essentially a reality show based on setting up couples, which is prerecorded, and the love observers (ZZT, CX, etc.) make comments, guesses, etc. This show really lets you dive deep into every one of these characters, makes you understand their personality, their likes, etc. There are definitely some scenes that made me want to shout in anger (because of what one of the casts did), but there are also some scenes that make me cant help but smile. Overall, 9/10, (minus one point because sometimes it felt like it may have been staged for the argument scenes lol). I'm a big fan of this season, definitely will be moving onto S2 and S3 to see what those seasons have in store for me.Was this review helpful to you?
Impressive, really deserves its success.
I usually never write reviews, but this drama has left me in awe. At first, I was skeptical; not going to lie, but I'm not a huge fan of the female lead. Over the past two years, I've seen/heard so many good reviews, and finally watched it. Wow. I am ABSOLUTELY mind-blown. There are so many plot twists, and the story is very captivating. The acting by Cheng Yi (male lead) will make you absolutely head-over-heels for him. **NOTE** if you don't really like the "misunderstandings" trope... well lets just say this drama could be titled "Love and Misunderstandings"... haha. However, the plot and everything else will just make you... go CRAZY for them!One thing I will say, is the amount of times the male lead spits out blood is a little... haha. I would say this drama is on the same level as Ashes of Love, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, etc. It's really a masterpiece. I have yet to rewatch it yet (because I don't want my heart to break again for Si Feng... ) but I know I will be rewatching it soon. Trust me. You will NOT regret watching it. Don't worry- it's a happy ending!

Not the best
Not going to lie, I'm only watching for Zhu Zhengting, Song YuQi, and some of the other main casts.The story plot / dating drama was not the best in my opinion, especially compared to the eventful season 1 and season 2. This season did not excite me that much, or make me anticipate the next episode. The ladies in this season are all beautiful with different distinct personalities, but sometimes I'm disappointed with the choices the people make.
Although I would really want to continue watching for SYQ and ZZT, the boring plot really makes me stray away. Even the first episode failed to capture me in (I was so hooked immediately for season 1 and season 2). Maybe it's because it's gotten repetitive, or maybe the directors are running out of better ideas on how to make the plots exciting and engaging? Either way, I would recommend just watching S1 and S2.
Overall 5/10.
