A good show indeed

I don't think using TMOPB and The Untamed as comparison is fair because these two had special cases behind their ratings. TMOPB is rated 6.5 tho, not 4, and actually it was rated higher before Tang Qi Gong Zi caught in plagiarism scandal. It was affecting TMOPB because TMOPB was based on that plagiarized novel and Tang Qi's comment was rude hence some people started rated TMOPB low. And The Untamed, it was 8.0 for so long after that drama ended but 227 incident happened (as the result govt banned AO3 in china) so it triggered the whole communities and they tried to down vote Xiao Zhan's best representative work on douban, etc. It kinda affected Xiao Zhan's carreer too for a moment, that scandal was that bad.

Anyway, Love and Destiny, a xianxia drama, rated 8.4 on douban

I think it's because their eyes' shape! Not the pupils I mean, ahhh its hard to explain but also find the similarity. Their eye acting is also the same~

this drama is not wuxia but xianxia

The plot is super basic, overused, nothing new but I really enjoy watching this and like everything 😭🖤 a good show to watch after work

do u think it's okay for me to skip ep 6-14? cuz I'm bored with the drama already but you said ep 15/16 finally starting to have some excitement

just watched ep 1, it was a great start! Dong Xuan as mermaid was sooo pretty and convincing. The CGI was not that bad.

I never said it's a good nature. I said it's his nature because Yoo Babi is actually an asshole. When he is in relationship with Yumi later, he will cheat on Yumi and impregnated his hidden girlfriend behind Yumi's back. And that's how he breaks up with Yumi. He being rude even though he's aware Yumi has a boyfriend? It's clearly a hint he's full of red flags. His nature as a cheater. You think a cheater like him care about ettiquette of not flirting with someone else's gf? ;)

I remember you on Start Up page, you were always the loudest one when it came to defend Han Ji Pyung and Kim Seon Ho. Glad you're so mature and not blinded by your love towards him, you're able to put your bias aside and think objectively, rationally, instead of blindly defending him like some people here even though he already admitted it. lets not pretend to be not smart. if someone already explained ALL cdramas took years to release because of many reasons then somebody still insisting certain actress' case is different, don't you think this person has special stereotype of that actress?
