she was severely abused by emperor himself right after gave birth to her baby. the emperor hated her so much because he heard rumor Mo Xin had an affair with his right-hand man. the affair wasn't true ofc. she was also bertrayed by other consort that was really really close with her. the emperor forced her to sign a paper about her affair with other man if she wanted to save her infant. she did, but unexpectedly after she agreed to sign, the emperor heavily threw the infant onto the ground right in front of Mo Xin's eyes. the infant died, and the killer was the infant's dad a.k.a emperor. ah, the emperor also locked her up and her dead baby in a room. After that, miracle happened and Mo Xin woke up in Mo Wan's body.

Oh, i guess they changed Mo Xin's very first tragedy plot from novel because of censorships. I'm not complaining, the drama ver is much tamer but still acceptable although the injustice Mo Xin had in novel feels more real, her huge desperation is convincing to the point you will understand why she deserves to get second life
