I think in general people should just realize that actors are just co-workers and their private lives are none…
right. i hate cp fans in general, especially if one of the pairings is casted to other drama with different co-star and these sick hardshippers start badmouthing that innocent co-star.
Start from ep 24! She's no longer teen and finally behaves like an adult
Yup, actually this drama is called "spin-off" because in Eternal Love there is also a story about Donghua and Fengjiu but their story doesn't follow the original novel due to copyright. They only own copyright for Bai Qian and Yehua story, that's why! Meanwhile for Eternal Love of Dream, the story follows the original novel although not 100% same. If you take out Fengjiu and Donghua story in Eternal Love, ELOD can be considered as continuation of drama Eternal Love hehe
Sweetie it’s not his fault regarding this. Agencies have full control of Asian actors. And crazy immature asian…
agencies have full control of asian actors? umm dont generalize. even in China NOT all actors and their agencies behave like Chengyi and his dumb agency during fan-meeting or concert. seriously Chengyi's agency is really really dumb istg. other popular dramas normally will milk fans as much as possible with their contents & fan services to get more cash and to maintain popularity, only Chengyi's dumb agency who decided to do opposite. now i am not questioning anymore why a talented actor like Chengyi never got popular before. many actors are dying to be in his position, too bad his dumb agency wasted his fame like that. i'm blaming Chengyi's agency btw, not Chengyi.
maybe you're new or rarely watch on WeTV/Tencent so you aren't that familiar with the system. there are three kind of memberships: free/regular, VIP, and VVIP.
In the first week, they normally releases 4 eps for free, but between free membership and paid membership disparity must exist, right? so they releases extra 6 episodes for VIP, therefore free membership can only watch ep 1-4 and the rest eps (5-10) are locked, only exclusively available for VIP users only.
for 2nd week, ep 5-8 will be unlocked for free users, meanwhile vip can watch ep 11-14. the gap between them will always be 6 eps.
On 3rd/4th week (this really depends on the total eps of its drama so it isn't necessarily 3rd week or 4th week) VIP members can upgrade their membership to VVIP, they'll pay extra money to watch the remaining eps including final. But VVIP programme isn't available for international fans.
In conclusion, they only releases 4 new eps every week. Extra 6 in the beginning only to create gap between vip and free users.
What are you on about? The drama is pretty good. Just because that's your opinion doesn't mean everyone shares…
yeah that's clearly my opinion. If you think this drama is pretty good then fine too, i'll send back your words: Just because that's your opinion doesn't mean everyone shares the same one as you, taste is like life itself, some people have it, others don't :D :D
why being so aggresive to people who have different opinions??? chill, it's just a drama. i don't even argue people who have different opinions about this drama because i respect their comments :)
I've seen him in many dramas, i personally think his most oustanding role is in Alice. His existance here overshadows all men around him haha. Just my opinion.
good story, good cast, good music, good visuals. overall a pretty good drama.the downside is that the logic can…
It is not plot hole, Bai Qian character truly lacks of motherly instinct. Her whole stories already showed it.
It's still realistic imo, i mean in reality there are many mothers who behave like her although it's their job to take care, love and raise their child properly. Showing different side of motherly figures is kinda refreshing though.
Most dramas only show motherly figures in black and white: the ones who will do everything for their children, or abusive/toxic mothers. Meanwhile, Bai Qian is on the grey side. She didn't raise A Li since the beginning and she lost her memories, hence she lacks experiences, lacks motherly instinct, which leds her to treat him like a stranger. She never had a chance to grow her love for her son. Even after she regained her memories, Jiuchongtian family weren't fond of her because of what happened to Yehua. No one dared to mention her name there, how could she step her feet on Jiuchongtian to visit A Li... Even when she was still Su Su, seeing how she named her son A Li and had audacity to leave her newborn baby alone already spoke volumes.
After she gets married to Yehua, she often accompanies A Li to study though (got this trivia from The Pillow Book, drama ELOD didn't show it. Bai Qian scolded A Li bc A Li wasn't as smart as Yehua during his childhood days, then A Li answered he inherited stupid brain from Bai Qian lmao).
It has nothing to do with gender, but the way someone behaves.
