Hearing good things about the show. One question,how is the acting because I have seen little clips from reels and cheng yi chen looks really stiff like i didn't see any sort of expression. Is that part of his character? Also is it as dark as to my shore?
I love it for the 9 episodes that they gave but it was not a proper ending with many things still unresolved. The novel is definitely worth reading.The actors did an exceptional job at what they were given. This series definitely need a second season. Praying that it won't end up like the On1y one.

I would definitely watch the show, only held back because I was quite concerned about how they were going to fit the entire storyline into just 9 episodes but if the show can standalone itself from it's source then it's fine by me. Also same from previous experiences not going to believe in the rumors about 2 season unless it's official😭.

The potential this show had if it was only not short. The plot is quite predictable maybe because of its limit. The main focus was on the very strong questionable bromance 👀.
Oh my god watching the last 4 episode together was the worst decision. It's been a long time since I felt this hurt and cry because of a show 😭😭 This was a great watch and deserves more love. The actors were amazing. The dialogues were so good. Hoping for more series like this going forward.
I watched till episode 8 and omg Hua Yong is a psychopath. Does he really love him??? The amount of manipulation he is doing is not any way justifiable. There is a point at how far someone can go!!! If I was Sheng Shao You, I will literally go mad and will hate that person till end
Also Shen Wen dude will get kicked by me if he continues treating Gao tu like this. I like the series. It just grips you and its really fun. The actors are really good. It's great that we are getting many chinese bls this year.
